  1. Pretty cool video of Urban/the team after the win on Saturday... I think Mitchell might be saving his visit for the Michigan game then he can commit and everything on the visit or after. Either that or it's just not going to happen. One of the best LB's in the country for the 2014 class has supposedly had OSU as his favorite for a long time but now he's saying it publicly... OSU is the clear leader. Raekwon McMillan out of Georgia. Kid is a prototypical SEC LB. The kind you see Bama trot out year in and year out like it's nothing.

I didn't even see Merle in the preview for next week's episode then I saw something later where I did. Definitely don't think it's gonna be him in the woods now. Preview showed him in the vehicle with Andrea and the Governor on their way to Woodbury from the chopper crash site. Maybe Morgan from episode 1? No one in the group knows who Morgan is except for Rick and I remember a line from the season 3 trailer where Daryl has his crossbow up and aimed at someone and he says "Who the hell are you?" Could be a line from later in the season if Michonne makes her way to the prison but would love to see Morgan come back.
  3. Munchie don't need to learn nuffin. His name is Munchie. He can do what he want.
  4. Miraculous turnaround considering all the Gator fans and Gator media said Urban bolted and left you guys with no talent...lol.
  5. Everything I've read is saying he's going to practice and play as if nothing happened. Borderline miraculous recovery...lol.

    Walking Dead

Yeah, sorry if that was a spoiler for those who either haven't watched the long season preview trailer thing from Comic Con or for those who don't watch the previews of next week's episodes. Still just a guess though and who knows, maybe Merle will end up just a hallucination again like he did last season.
  7. Thought this was interesting enough to post... nevada says if Chizik gets canned at Auburn not to be surprised if Urban makes a run at him for DC. He was in charge of Auburn's defense in 2002-2004 (Auburn was undefeated in 2004 with the #1 scoring defense and #5 total defense in the country) then a co-DC/asst. HC at Texas in 2005-2006 (Texas went undefeated in 2005 with the #8 scoring defense and #10 total defense up from #18 and #23 the year before) before starting his HC career.

Could be Merle? Merle and Daryl were not in the comics so we comic folk are right there with everyone else when it comes to them.
  9. The following post is about The Ohio State University football team. Fans of any other football programs in Ohio may want to skip it... Looks like Braxton is fine and going to play. All the reports yesterday saying he was cleared and passed all the tests and was released were still followed with doubt and the possibility that he'd still be out a while. Really strange situation. Kid looked awful, was carted off the field, was taken to the hospital by ambulance and just... he's fine and going to play.
  10. Ermahgerd... a website with a bunch of guys from Columbus is filled with OSU fans. Who knew? One less undefeated team in Ohio tonight. :lolguy:
  11. Sounding like they thought it was a very serious concussion. Tweets from media people starting to go out saying he's symptom free and being released soon according to OSU. Still not entire sure what it all means...lol. Some people saying just because he's passing tests, symptom free and being released doesn't mean he didn't suffer a very serious concussion and he could still be out the rest of the season.
  12. When did he tweet that? After the fumble that Braxton recovered and had taken away from him on the ground and given to Purdue wasn't even reviewed? When the BS block in the back was called in the end zone resulting in a safety? When Braxton was horse-collared and it wasn't called? Nah... he probably tweeted it when Evan Spencer drew the ultra obvious PI call to get OSU down to the 2 to score the tying TD.
  13. That was an amazing final minute and OT. Now everything turns to Braxton.
  14. I've been practically asleep all game and not caring but yeah that drive and conversion has me shaking with adrenaline...lol.
  15. Haha... didn't see "I hope" at first. I say forfeit the rest of the season, focus on recruiting and finding a new defensive staff.
  16. More than likely. Winless against Purdue since 2008 now...lol.
  17. Yeah at first it looked like head/neck then it looked like shoulder then it looked like ribs. Now the sideline guy says they focused on head/neck and Braxton looked kinda in and out... regardless it's scary. Hope it's not too, too serious. DaddyBuilt gets his wish. :lolguy:
  18. Summary of this page... DaddyBuiltRacing: Urban sucks! LJ: WTF are you talking about? Also, Zach Smith has a lot to do with special teams. Urban is untouchable. :gabe:
  19. Never saw any confirmation on Torg being fired. Not sure where the guy who told me that saw it. Whatever. Somewhat similar story (douchebags related to OSU-football at least)... Former Bucknuts "insider" BukiBill06 was arrested in Key West on Oct. 10th and is being brought back to Ohio for $25k in unpaid child support. He is an ultimate scumbag when it comes to... well... everything. And Bucknuts and its posters loved and supported him for years. Mugshot from his arrest... http://i.imgur.com/Bqww5.jpg
  20. They probably already have a LB in Darron Lee. And Chris Worley who is very similar to Lee (could be a safety, could be a LB, could be a Star) is supposedly in. nevada had Mitchell to OSU months ago and is still sticking to that. Everyone figures once he actually visits it'll be done. There's that 1 JUCO LB who is supposedly visiting for the Michigan game. Then there are a couple LB's currently committed elsewhere that they are working on (Auburn LB commit Trey Johnson, Florida LB commit Daniel McMillan). And another LB out of Florida, Skai Moore. Could technically end up with 3-4 LB's in this class (Worley, Lee, Mitchell and one of Johnson, McMillan or Moore). Currently have 17 commits and 21 spots. Most expect it to be about 25 spots available by signing day so 8 more kids... Basically in... Gibson Worley Mitchell Trending up for OSU... Dorian Johnson James Quick Leaves 3 more spots for those committed LB's, Moore, someone like Vonn Bell or some other surprises.
  21. Exactly. And the funny thing is Braxton is still on pace to top Pryor's junior numbers without a 13th game. I don't think anyone in the universe would say he's Tom Brady or Peyton Manning or Drew Brees throwing the ball. He's only had basically 10-11 months of real QB coaching now. His mechanics, throwing motion and arm strength are all there. He just needs a tad bit more experience in this offense and his WR's need to stop dropping easy balls and it's going to be scary. I mean, we're nitpicking a sophomore who is by all accounts a top 3 Heisman candidate right now...lol. Now that we're nearing the end of this season I feel like taking a look to next season... holy shit. The offense is going to be incredible. - Braxton at QB with Kenny "100% TD Rate" Guiton backing him up - everyone back at RB (lots of talk of Hall taking a medical redshirt now) plus Ezekiel Elliott - all the important WR's (hate to say it but Stoney isn't really important) back plus Jalin Marshall, Sheldon Gibson, maybe James Quick - 4/5 OL back with the 5th being replaced by a true sophomore (Decker) who was neck and neck with the starter (Fragel) going into this season - all the TE's back plus Marcus Baugh (could play, probably won't need to with Heuerman and Vannett playing well) Defense... they can't get much worse so even though they lose most of the best parts (Simon, Williams, Sabino, Howard, probably Hankins, possibly Roby) there won't be much of a decline because there's not really anywhere to decline to. - DL will be young but talented... Spence, Washington, Schutt all played this year, Bennett will be healthy, Joel Hale and Steve Miller back, Sevon Pittman will play, Joey Bosa could come in and make an immediate impact and if Hankins miraculously stays... mmmmmm - LB... who knows? Shazier is back. Grant needs to do something. People really like Cam Williams and Josh Perry. Jamal Marcus and David Perkins are freaks athletically just not picking up the defense yet. I could see them being very good or as bad as this year. - DB's... hoping Roby returns. Barnett and Bryant aren't very good but they're back. Grant has shown nice flashes this season and should be able to step right in for Howard. Then Bogard probably at Star. If Roby goes NFL too then they're looking to current true freshmen to stop in probably. - Special teams just lose Buchanan but he hasn't been better than average. Urban's got himself another really good punter coming in so maybe he takes over from the start or maybe Frank the Greek is a punter
