Should take him down to 1/4 of a point for the USC loss because they were ranked in the AP but not the BCS or Coaches polls because of their post-season ban, like OSU this season. They were 18th in that poll but jumped into the top 10 after beating Oregon. And Boise is not a legit school. They prepare for 1 game from January-September then go into cruise control as they play cupcake after cupcake and wait for their bowl assignment. That's why they were able to beat Oregon. That's why they were able to compete with MSU. That's why they win marquee matchups in bowl games. They play 2 real games a year, 3 if something weird is going on.

That Arizona game was when they lost Dennis Dixon and he consequently lost the Heisman. Dude was awesome in that offense.

I don't bring nevada's stuff over here all the time (especially now since his info has kind of run dry - uh oh I better get some lube to fix that up amirite?) and when I do you always make a comment about nevada's info being bad so I like to preempt it. :gabe: What's funny is the site I post on the most with regards to CFB all we do is make fun of nevada...lol. His info has seriously seemed to dry up since Urban came in and he's a whiny little bitch whenever he gets called out on stuff. He and Bill Greene on Scout said they'd have better info than ever with Meyer coming in and sometimes now they even say bullshit like "we have great info - we just can't always share it." While that may be true it doesn't help any of us when they come in after the fact and say, "yeah, we knew about that." This year is something of a "last hurrah" for USC as they will start having depth issues over the next few years since their scholarship reductions are just starting to kick in. And Michigan will be right back to where they were pre-RichRod in 2-3 years. They are recruiting as well as anyone right now and I think they showed last year that they have the coaches in place to take advantage of any talent they do have. They just don't have a it stockpiled right now thanks to RichRod.

So ND going to ACC in everything but football but kinda also in football with the 5 ACC games a year thing = response from Big 10. From nevadabuck so you know he only hits like 4% of the time according to DaddyBuiltRacing...lol

Could see one against UAB next weekend. Then maybe Indiana. They just lost their QB for the season.
-
Definitely facetious. I can hardly even find a delusional Cal fan who thinks they have a chance. Even before the season started and they lost to Nevada they were bitching about Tedford being an idiot and agreeing to coming east for essentially a 9am kickoff. Most of the discussion I can find on their forums is about who their coach will be next year...lol. Edit: just found a post from a Cal fan who put several hundred down on OSU to cover at -17. That's the kind of confidence they have.

They still run Dave like crazy. It's just different personnel/formations. Now if you would have said I don't miss goal line 2 FB Dave then it would have been OK. And I think we'll see some I formation down near the goal line in B1G play. They did practice it a bit in fall camp, maybe spring too. I forget. Not very much but it's there.

Meyer just had his presser and it sounded like maybe he went off a bit prematurely. Sounds like he's discussed a lot with Fickell and Withers since Saturday and understands there are some guys missing (Bennett especially then Williams being there one day and not the next) and then some guys just not making the right plays. Depth errors (like on the 3rd and 21 UCF converted after Meyer accepted the chop block penalty) and others as results of simple laziness by the players not paying attention to the whole play/coverage call. He did say there could possibly be some strategy changes on defense this weekend though so he's still influencing some change there it sounds like. And I definitely hope everything works out where Fickell simply adapts/adjusts to what Meyer wants. I thought Heacock's defenses for the most part were fantastic and the stats make that hard to argue against. Also a fan of Urban going for it like he has. There's a big-time Tressel guy on the Scout forums who is heavily criticizing what Urban has done regarding going for the TD against Miami and not getting it, missing the 4th down conversion near mid-field against UCF, etc. but these aren't just strategy things at this point in the season against this level of competition. It's a mental thing too. He's trying to see just what his guys are capable of and I'd rather have us miss these inconsequential "do or die" plays now and learn from them than have it happen later in the season because we never tried it.

Anyone else notice Urban kinda going after Fickell/Vrabel at the end of the game on Saturday? Urban's being very vocal about not liking the lack of pressure they're getting on the QB and seemed to want Fickell/Vrabel to send more guys. Fickell kinda just ignored Urban on the sideline but Vrabel went back and forth with him. I remember thinking at one point early in the 2nd half that Urban could easily go over to them and say something about this defense being the same shit he tore apart in the national title game against OSU. Apparently Urban was the one who had to make the defensive staff put OJ out there more on Saturday (and he played a great game) and now he's going to be doing more with the defense again this week. Having to do a lot more than he expected on that side of the ball with 2 guys who served as interim head coaches as the leaders of the defensive staff.

I wonder what the stat is for Pac 12 @ B1G in that same time frame. That's a much tougher adjustment than the B1G going west. Cal basically has to play at 9am this weekend in Columbus.

It's like I'm a poet and I don't even know it. :lolguy: Never gonna happen. The polls alone are a multi-million dollar business now. You've got media outlets ranking teams for the next season the second the whistle blows on the national title game. Then an update of those when players are done declaring for the draft. Then another when the recruiting classes are signed. Then another when spring practices are over. Then maybe one more at the very beginning of summer. Then the polls that actually matter come out while teams are still going through their fall camps.

lol... Rich Rod going HARD in the paint. Beat Okie St. 59-38.
-
Whatever bro, we beat the SEC today. Northwestern represent!!!11111
-
I like that guy. He doesn't show his face so I have to think he doesn't have a terrible ego like the other faggy OSU "super" fans.
-
Also, another neck injury in the Arkansas game earlier. Looked almost exactly like the Tulane one. 2 guys from same team going for a tackle hit helmet to helmet. Had to be taken off on ambulance. Then just a few plays a later a really bad leg injury and that guy had to be carted off. And Northwestern just scored a TD with just over a minute to go to go up 10 on Vandy who almost beat "top 10" South Carolina last week.
-
Hahaha... *heads over to CFB subreddit to read through entire thread*
-
lol... that's not real.
-
Also, not sure if anyone saw/heard about the Tulane player. Broke his neck and suffered a collapsed lung. They had to perform CPR and a tracheotomy on the field to revive him. Hit his own dude. He's an honors student majoring in cell and molecular biology who paid his way for his first 2 years at Tulane. Just awful. http://assets.sbnation.com/assets/1347123/walker1.gif

Have not been pleased at all with the announcing crews we've had thus far this season. Hopefully we get someone I've heard of/who knows what they're talking about for the Cal game next week. It's on ABC at least. Nessler/Blackledge would be fantastic.

Just remembered one of PSU's key transfers after the sanctions were announced? Anthony Fera. He was their kicker last year (a highly recruited kicker out of HS - OSU and Michigan each offered grayshirt scholarships but PSU eventually offered a full so he went there) and was 14/17 on the season with a long of 46. They probably win today if he didn't transfer. :lolguy:

When they first showed his stats when I flipped to the game after the OSU game they had him as 1-4 and 1-2 on PAT's. Thought he straight up missed a PAT too and was lol'ing hard. Then they explained that he had it blocked and the lulz subsided a bit. Ending brought the lulz back full force though. USC is struggling right now against the Cuse.

Loved watching PSU miss that FG at the end that would have won it. There were A LOT of PSU fans there for an away game and the camera showing all of their sad, child-molesting faces couldn't have been better. As for OSU... not a surprising result. UCF won't lose more than 2-3 games this year, were just outside the top 25 going into this game. Lots of people didn't know that so they think OSU sucks now...lol. Really need to hope Hyde is OK, Bri'onte learns the plays and Hall comes back soon. Cannot keep running Braxton like that or he'll be dead by mid-season.
-
Pitt got whooped by an FCS team. Miami plays an FCS team this weekend so we'll see how that comparison holds up. Here's a hint... it won't.
-
Yep, that's going to help. And UCF shouldn't be a blowout. If OSU starts like they did against Miami it could be very interesting.

No idea who Kirk Cameron is. Bob Ross was the shit. I remember the day he died was very sad. I found a channel on justin.tv that was streaming Bob Ross all day a week or so ago but can't find it now.
