Thank Tim Tebow! The TV ratings were the lowest for a title game in the BCS era. Thinking about it some more, the entire south can watch that game all they want but they weren't going to get anyone from a truly large market to watch that game (Chicago, NY, LA, etc.). Filled with B1G and Pac 12 alums who probably didn't want to go near that game. TV rating was a 13.8, previous low for a title game was Miami-Nebraska in the 2002 Rose Bowl with a 14.3. Another BCS rating note, the Orange Bowl between WVU and Clemson was the lowest rated game in BCS history with an abysmal 4.5. Ratings are down across the board and I thought that may be the case when it was mentioned that the BCS was immediately looking at ways to "improve" their system this morning.

Yeah, I'm a die hard college football guy and didn't watch it and know plenty of people around here who did the same but I'm sure SEC country watched it in record numbers as they licked their reflections in their mirrors and jerked themselves off.
-
Sadly I think it will probably be one of the highest rated. Too many people buy into hype and believe what ESPN tells them ("these are CLEARLY the two best teams in the country").

Also back to OSU stuff... The player who missed the early team meeting with Urban and the new staff on the 3rd... Andrew Norwell. Surprising since he seems like a good kid and all he did was oversleep (very bad timing). Supposedly he gets to mop the floors of the weight room for their workouts (which started today) at 5:30am every morning. Good times!

Didn't watch. Checked the box score when it was 15-0 and had a hearty lol. And to be fair, it wasn't an anti-SEC/anti-rematch/anti-whatever thing. It was an anti-hype thing. If I wasn't an OSU fan I probably would have been turned off of the 2006 OSU-Michigan game because of the hype that had. I didn't watch more than 10 minutes of the first LSU-Bama game this year either because it had at least twice the hype of the OSU-Michigan game (2 weeks worth of hype because both teams had BYEs the week before the game) then they doubled it once more for the title game. It's hilarious to me that a team who lost on their own field to the team they beat for the title are national champs.

Nope, laughing at them because after 1 victory Michigan will be right back to where they were with Mike Hart. Running their mouths and going winless against OSU. :lolguy:
-
Schutt and Washington were dominant all week in 1 on 1's. Was funny that faggot Kalis beat Schutt once the other day and talked trash about it in some Scout video update. Schutt and Washington were undefeated through a few days of their 1 on 1's and didn't say anything. Sounds like the Mike Hart mentality is taking over quick with the Michigan kids.

You know, I like bacon a good bit but watching Epic Mealtime and seeing bacon on sweet stuff... just don't think that's for me.

I mean, they're not pillows, but compared to a hardwood floor they're soft.

This is a biggie and I mentioned it in my post. First, the types of athletes are just different. Typically much longer legs on the guys being mentioned in the NBA vs. a guy like Nate Williams. Then you have the playing surface. Hard wood vs. soft grass/turf.

I don't know what exactly the injury is but I know it required microfracture surgery and that's never a good thing to hear for sure. It's very hit or miss whether someone will come back anywhere close to where they were from that surgery. It might be more of an issue to come back from for the tall, lanky basketball players in which it's more common though (like Greg Oden). Amare Stoudemire had the surgery twice I believe and was still a beast for at least a little while after it for the Suns. Guys like Allan Houston and Penny Hardaway on the other hand had their careers essentially ended by the surgery.

Yeah, once Williams went down their sole speed rusher was gone. Really, their sole DE. I don't know if OSU will continue to just have 1 speed rushing DE under Meyer. I think we all remember the rush coming from both sides against OSU in the 2006 title game with Harvey and Moss who were both relatively undersized.

They did recruit him they just didn't offer him. They wanted to offer him as a CB but he wanted to play RB so they parted ways. He's done well for himself at Cincy. And Noah Spence had a beast game tonight in the UA All-American game. At least 2 sacks, 4 TFL, FF and he pressured one of the QB's into an INT. And after his first 2 sacks he was pretty much held the rest of the night because it was the OT's only chance. There will be a lot of talented young guys at DL next season at OSU and he's got a real shot to play because he brings something there isn't much of at all right now and that's speed off the edge. It's his only real "move" right now but it's perfect since OSU doesn't currently have it.
-
And that's only because the Bearcats get the cool Picktown grads like Chaz Anderson and Ryan Manalac...lol. Shit just got real...

He's been pretty "bulked up" since he was in Bronson. His breakout movie was probably Inception and now he'll be Bane in The Dark Knight Rises. http://i.imgur.com/BUdLK.jpg

There's a reason pretty much everyone says the Big East should lose their BCS bid as soon as those discussions are brought back up. And if WVU is gone to the B12 like they say they are then the conference is absolutely worthless. Right now they're mostly worthless... WVU goes and it's the Sun Belt.
-
But that's pretty standard for Cincy because it's a stepping stone program. OSU rarely has a down year because of "coaching woes" and this past season was the epitome of "coaching woes" since OSU basically didn't have a head coach. I think everyone who watched football on Monday got to see that this was OSU's first 7-loss season since the 19th century...lol.
-
Good thing Cincy fan has this crazy year of OSU football to make some of those numbers look much closer than they should...lol.

Actually it is. Mann used HD cameras for the first time in a major motion picture when he made Collateral then used the same cameras for Miami Vice. There isn't a lot out there shot with HD cameras actually because standard film still holds a higher resolution in almost all cases.

Too young to have seen the TV show, saw the movie in theaters and enjoyed it. Think it closes with "Auto Rock" by Mogwai which is an awesome song.

Louisville got one against Wake a few years ago. Miami had a few as a member of the Big East but obviously aren't there any more

Also, more Michigan fan poll lulz... http://i.imgur.com/hLpyk.png

Haven't read anything final sounding on Williams, Hagan or Griffin. Berry certainly seems gone. Was supposed to have a 1 on 1 with Urban yesterday or today. Scott McVey and Melvin Fellows are definitely done as medical hardships. Then you had Graham transfer out. Hagan or perhaps even someone like Jordan Whiting (had a somewhat mysterious injury that sidelined him I think pretty much all of last season) could be the 3rd medical hardship that was talked about a couple weeks ago.
