  1. I'll prolly roll in around 7 to get a table on the patio.
  2. Well worth it, for the rarity factor alone.... Think about it. It's a CTD build that moves under its own power. :lolguy:
  3. Thoreau said, Beware of all enterprises that require new clothes. I would add: Beware of taking any job that requires you to own a four-door.
  4. 1) of course, do whatever makes you happiest without regard to what others think 2) I think you're trading down if you get the MS3 3) If you decide that you want the MS3, drive an FRS before making the deal. Maybe you'll like it--maybe not, but it's the same price as the MS3 and I'd guess it's much more what you'd like in the long run.
  5. Clay, I think all of us here agree that you are obliged to go test drive this car then come back on here and give us your review.
  6. By comparison, the flames searing my flesh will merely be a distraction from the real torture.
  7. Although theologians may have debated the details of Purgatory, I feel confident that my own personal Purgatory will have a soundtrack chosen by CR members and played loudly.
  8. Welcome, and good luck with the build. Columbus Racing has a lot of meets/track days/activities. I hope to see you out at them in the coming months. + rep
  9. Especially for you two, Cordell & Dave Harris: I saw this on Hagerty today.
  10. Rhett, I'll pay your asking price for the lot. PM me details on when and where you want to meet and the best way to reach you.
  11. The 2011 thread: http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=90369&highlight=gold+investing The 2012 thread: http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=108919&highlight=silver I guess we were due to go through it all again.
  12. It sounds as though you've pulled a lot together nicely (no pun intended). Congratulations on what you've achieved so far and best wishes for your future success.
  13. If you bring it down here you'll want to install some clear bra to save the paint from all the drool that'll be dripping on it. Quite impressive
  14. What? Mopar events, on the night of Pelotonia? Bad planning on Mopar Nat's part. I predict no one will show there tonight.
  15. It doesn't get much nicer in Ohio: 10 p.m., 72 degrees, calm wind, clear .... Old Circuit City on Sawmill? Eats earlier, say at 8 p.m.?
  16. Yeah, the organizer (Anthony Stamm, who you might know from meets and from Cars & Coffee) was running late and didn't make it to the event until about 6:15, which made for a few bumps at the beginning. But it was a great night and lots of folks saw it on Facebook so there was an excellent turnout. When I did my walk-through, I counted 72 cars, so I'd say Mojoe's total of 100 for the night is probably pretty close. That's over a grand for the charity. Besides Jaron and me, Eric (SlomoEric) also took a first place trophy, making three for CR. Thanks to everyone who came out to support.
  17. Great, Aaron. I might need a designated driver tonight if I start out early on the Blue Moons.
  18. If the beautiful weather we're seeing right now sticks around, it should be a great night. Even if you're not entering your car in the charity show, it should be a fun time on the patio and walking around the lot. Afterwards, there's the usual cruise over to Sawmill. I plan to be there a little before 6 to grab a table outside. Hope to see you all out somewhere.
  19. From the first post: For more info contact Anthony Stamm, Stamm.AGS@gmail.com 614-657-0575 I'm not an organizer for it or a member of the G club -- Anthony just asked if I could help him get the word out. I support the charity and will likely come out at least to spectate if the weather cooperates.
  20. I'm not sure I'm following you on this, Paul. QSL didn't plan and organize the event; it was set up by an individual (Anthony Stamm) working on the charity and he's being helped by friends in the G club, who hold a regular Friday night meet at QSL. He asked QSL and the club if he could do the show and they agreed. I doubt that the organizer was hoping that a bunch of Pelotonia riders would bring cars out to a car show to raise money for Pelotonia. I think this is aimed at the car crowd who might want to donate to the charity but aren't necessarily involved in the charity in any other way. If the weather's good, I would expect 30 cars or so. Even 10 cars raises money for Pelotonia, which is a good thing.
  21. Congrats, Eli, and good luck in the new position.
  22. No need to pre-register. Pay the man who gives you the registration form as you pull into the lot.
  23. Craig has one heck of a deal on his one remaining kart and everything to go race it: http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=106401 I don't think you'd find a better, more knowledgeable seller anywhere.
  24.
