  1. No booze, but strippers are okay ....... as long as you're in a committed relationship with them all.
  2. Five is good enough for starters. It'll be open after 8 p.m.
  3. Okey-dokey, Ryan. I'll post a thumbs up or down by 7 p.m., but you can figure that if anyone else wants to come by, I'm fine with opening the place.
  4. http://i355.photobucket.com/albums/r445/martyr65/2007_volkswagen_gti_20113188-E.jpg Just a feeler to see if there's interest here. A good friend of mine in Delaware owns this car and has asked me to sell it for him. I was with him when he bought it new at MAG. Always garage-kept, and he is meticulous about keeping the car clean. He's in his 50's and has been the only driver -- never pushed the car beyond reason. It looks new. 15,000 miles He has two more years to go on the extended factory warranty. Here are the specs: http://www.edmunds.com/volkswagen/gti/2007/features-specs.html?sub=hatchback&style=100848043 Here are more marketing pics from VW: http://i355.photobucket.com/albums/r445/martyr65/2007_volkswagen_gti_20113191-E.jpg http://i355.photobucket.com/albums/r445/martyr65/2007_volkswagen_gti_20113185-E.jpg http://i355.photobucket.com/albums/r445/martyr65/2007_volkswagen_gti_20113190-E.jpg If there is interest, I can arrange for you to inspect the car in person and test drive it. Sorry, I don't have photos of the actual car. If you live at a distance from central Ohio and have a sincere interest, I'll arrange to take pics. Sticker on the car was around $28,000. I believe he only wants $16,000 for a quick sale. PM me for more info.
  5. I don't see anything going on tonight, so I'll open the Hangout around 8. Foos, XB360, movies. We can order pizza if you'd like or arrange for a food run. Heated garage will be open for your use if you want. Please post if you need that so that I can have it ready for you. Wipe your feet twice before re-entering the office please (people lay on the floor sometimes, and they don't want to do that on your dirty footprints!) Address: 320 London Road, Delaware, 43015 (The Howald Industrial Park) Come in the front door of Building 100. Call me if you can't find the place. 740-405-5565
  6. How much for a custom paint job on it? The black is so hard to keep clean ...
  7. Bump for an excellent price on one very clean car. I took a close look at this car today and it's in very good original condition. Lots of different directions to go with this car to make it a real head-turner for low $$$$. If I weren't thinning the herd, this car would be mine. GLWS
  8. I voted YES on the mental health levy just so that you could get a new phone. :dumb:
  9. Har har. Let's put a little money on racquetball, say, 2 out of 3 games, and we'll see who needs a mobility chair, boy-o.
  10. Well, look on the bright side. Although he did an excellent job in the parking lot, you have a lot more experience crashing into cars on the public roads than he does. It's expensive getting that type of experience.
  11. I trust you enough to let you drive the Viewt ...... but then, I let a 4-year-old drive it around the Wedgewood parking lot today.
  12. I think Groucho Marx said it best: "I don't care to belong to a club that accepts people like me as members." I'll be really hard to find, as I'll be the 300 lb geriatric in a sweat suit plopped next to a fire engine red Mitsuoka Viewt. And I think your clubhouse bar should allow me to drink one shot on the house for every time I'm asked to slowly repeat the phrase "MIT-SU-O-KA VIEWT"
  13. Repost ..... http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1440318&highlight=sheep#post1440318
  14. Bump for a charity car show today. I imagine there will be some high-end stuff if the Wedgewood members bring their best cars. It should be warm but blustery. I may come by in the brave little Viewt to give the high rollers some WTF moments. http://myemail.constantcontact.com/Reminder-to-Join-us-for-a-CAR-SHOW-and-OPEN-HOUSE.html?soid=1103452603835&aid=TTeh-Tp2EWo
  15. Jordyn posting on your account again?
  16. Definitely offroad racing, rally style, in the area. Patrick Burke knows the most about what's around in that category. I haven't seen the rigs like those in the video running anywhere but in sand, but I'm sure others know a lot more about that than I do.
  17. Not sure if serious .... I think it would require an acceleration of global climate change to allow desert racing within our tri-state area.
  18. It's pretty chilly for bikin', but if you do ride it out, we'll park it inside the garage.
  19. not a problem. I still have two chairs to spare in case someone else decides to show up (5 have let me know).
  20. You're welcome here, Robby. It would probably do everyone some good to meet face-to-face and realize that you're all good people. Good people can screw up and post stupid stuff, but I think you're all men enough to get over it and realize that it's not going to hurt anyone to overlook someone's shortcomings and tolerate each other's differences, sort of the way civilized people do. At times CR begins to look like Lord of the Flies Online. Yeah, I know, the OG's explained it to me that that is just how CR has "always" worked and that's what "makes it great." Okey-dokey. You're all welcome at my place, and there isn't going to be any rumbling unless you want to rumble with me. And I don't fight fair.
