  1. Clean the connector at the TB, check the battery terms, as well as the alternator.
  2. Lemme check my pile of parts, I may have one. Spray it out with MAF cleaner first. You'd be amazed what will gunk up in there. Spray out the TB too. They can be finicky about the filter too. If there is any excess oil on the filter it will pull it out and it will coat the sensor. Check for vacuum leaks, and bad grounds also. They are the death of many a VW. If it's been sitting a while, pull the pugs and clean them off. Wait til dark and look for arcing off of the coil, and/or wires. Monikas Golf had a dying MAF in it when we bought it, I cleaned it out and went 3 or 4 more months before it crapped out. I doubt it's the clutch, but bleeding it couldn't hurt. You guys still going to the movie tomorrow?
  3. A stack of bills, and a empty Diet Mt. Dew can.
  4. My wife has a pair and couldn't stand them. She wore them for a week, and pitched them.

  6. The stock ones do crack over time. There are a few threads on Vortex wit DIY's for going to a Ford coil pack or MSD coils. Super easy to swap. Ocasionally the kids get jammed up but they are still smallish. Mine are 5,6, and 11.
  7. Personally I thought putting the car on logs was funny. The car wasn't actually being damaged or maliciously abused. Letting it get towed, nope, painting a dick? Very bad. Pony up Igor.
  8. It was a long drunken night. Not something you expect to find on a public forum...... Um, yeah...... Unfortunately yes.
  9. Dat shiz da troof yo! Always entertaining.
  10. The gayness is strong with you, but thats okay. Leigh should be better! Straighter(?)
  11. Fight a Bear? LOL That would be awesome. Vote in.
  12. VR's are fun, but there will be a few areas to be addressed asap. Timing chains, clutch (it gets pulled to do the chains anyway) motor mounts, water pumps, and my favorite part the crack pipe. Had that not gone out on my Passat I'd likely still be driving it. 250K and ran like a stink. Aftermarket exhaust and an intake, that thing will make glorious noises and get 30 mpg.
  13. I got some paint in aerosol can from these guys. It matched pretty well. http://www.automotivetouchup.com/
  14. Jet sizes. With EFI you'll use smaller jets to compensate for higher pressure, and Plate vs. a Nozzle.
  15. 12-15 if it was actually cared for. If it sat unattended all this time it's hosed. 170 HP beast. I'd bet the doors still rattle.
  16. Faster isnt always better. The i3 is more efficient. If you dont opt for the i3, get a mobo for ddr3 memory. And get at least 4gb.
  17. Cool man. Cant wait to take a look!
  18. The one he puts on there should be usable to bolt to the firewall. The one i got for my car is cylindrical and he has a bracket those goes around the back to bolt to a flat surface. I would just take it to IPS and have them weld a piece of aluminum to it to get it to work. Youll be impressed when you get it from Calan. His products are impressive.
  19. First, get more memory. Windows 7 likes to have atleast 3. More the better in this case. Also, i would recommend getting a mobo for ddr3 memory rather than older memory style ddr2. Lastly, i would recommend an Intel over a AMD proc. Even the i3 proc is more efficient and faster than a similar amd procs. Check out tomshardware.com as stated earlier.
  20. No thats right. Is it polished? If not, P&P polishes He did have a sale for 130 shipped a few weeks ago. But thats over. So thats the price i got.
  21. Ill sell you a new one if you cant fix it.
  22. Calan is a really good guy. He knows his stuff. And his products look fantastic.
