Does it run? Aside from the shifter issue.

I often find myself questioning my parenting abilities. I walk out of the garage tonight, to take a break from a current project, only to find my kids negotiating for lengths before they race. My six year-old talked my eleven year-old into five and the hit. I was oh so proud. He almost won. They even made my wife hold the quarters they both borrowed from me. I may have teared up a bit. Honestly I have no idea where they get it from ......

I'm a bit slow. The car burned to the ground before or after you owned it? Either way it wasn't your car. It shouldn't be connected to you.

LOL, you funny guy. Super clean Jetta. I forced myself into Mk3's. I'm glad I did. They are light years ahead of Mk1's and Mk2's.

I had a GC once. I always had that nagging wonderment of what it would look like slammed. Now I know. Like Dr Seuss puked on it. Cool idea, over the top execution.

Okay, so I scared a few hours out of the house last night to work on WTF. Swapped out the coils from my Mk2, and the the wheels that were on it. Put the stock struts and a set of steelies on there. Nose bleed stance doesn't even come close to describing it. It's been so long since I've seen a stock height Mk2 I am still in shock. Either way The GTI is starting to look Baller IMO at least.
