Quickie update, got the starter in only to crack the water pipe. I love rust. But now I don't have to push it to start it at least. Gonna order some spacers tomorrow for the rear wheels, and all will be goodness.

I am gonna need some wheel spacers for the GTI. I'm thinking 16-18mm would cut it. Can anyone get me a decent price? 57.1 mm center bore, 4x100 bolt pattern. Thanks

Ha ha thanks, most of that was the wife after some severe sucking up. Tomorrow it's onto the back seat and getting the new starter in. Maybe the front brakes.

Leigh=Douche hole. So I was talking to my brother tonight, and he purchased a set of 1152 Designs wheels for his 82 Rabbit and they don't fit. So being the industrious type I proposed to him I trade a spare set of BBS's I have for those to put on the GTI. I'll still need spacers to clear the coil overs I have for it, but unlike him I have noooo problem with that. Here is what the wheels look like. They'll have 195/50-15's on them. So after getting the rear brakes unlocked, new pads goof with the rotors and bled I ran it with brakes last night. This pig has more body roll than the Titanic, and will three wheel pimp on command nearly at nearly every turn. I trekked out to a sparrow fart of a town yesterday and picked up a new starter, complete front harness, ecu, fuel rail, TB, ABA manifold, and Air Box with MAF for 50.00. So good. I nee a good 350 with Center bolt heads. The 305 in the truck is just about dead, I'd do 250-300.00, or trade for stuff.
