There is a HUGE market for these phones in other countries where they aren't being sold yet. Many people are getting older or broken ones, fixing them, then selling them for $600, $700, and up because of the demand.

I sold my first gen iPhone used for $500 on eBay when my work got me a 3G. I didn't feel bad at all.

I have an Eaton M62 supercharger and I cannot find a straight answer on if I should replace the oil in it. And, if so, when? The GM manual says it is a closed system that never needs servicing. Yet they go on to explain how to change it, which isn't hard. Eaton recommends 100,000 miles, while other people are saying 20k, 40k, etc. Any thoughts on this? Should I just not worry about it or should it become something I do regularly?

it was on the news, sort of lame: guy in an older F-150 gets stopped in Columbus. expired tags, suspended license, and drugs in the car. he takes off leading police on a chase lasting 30 minutes and reaching speeds of... get ready... 80mph! near the end he goes through a corn field to try to lose them. it doesn't work and he gets bagged. The part I witnessed must have been the cops catching up to the pack because they blew past me going at least 100mph.

Around 7:20pm

So I was cruising to Kroger on Sunbury when I see a cop ahead on the side of the road. I start slowing down as he throws out spike strips in front of me. I was thinking "geez was I going THAT fast to warrant spike strips?" I then see a bunch of cop cars blow by Sunbury in pursuit. They didn't come my way so the cop jumps back in his car and burns rubber after them. Lookout on the news tonight for a chase story. Hopefully they got some footage.

My car is famous now.

Some ideas I have: 1. A CR Rally to Raise Money for the Columbus Dog Shelter I know many of us are animal lovers here. Have a friendly Rally starting at a local business or lot and ending at the dog shelter where a check can be presented. Everyone shows up and pays an entry fee. (Amount TBD) You get some sort of t-shirt or vinyl sticker to commemorate the event. All money collected gets added up and a check could be presented to the shelter upon arrival. Even if you could not attend in person you could PayPal money to be included. I know there would be local businesses that would love to donate to a cause like this. Columbus Dog Connection: http://www.columbusdogconnection.com 2. (Slight variation) A CR Rally with a $$$ Pot Have a rally where everyone threw in money. I am thinking more along the lines of $40 or more. Half of the pot could be donated to a charity. The other half could be used for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place cash prizes. The rally could have 2 different check-points at locations where multiple routes could be an option. Legal issues? I suppose that would have to be figured out. In light of recent events maybe one of these fund-raising ideas could be in memory of Kenny.

(Devils Advocate) This lady has paid taxes for years and helped the less fortunate. Now she has no income... why shouldn't she benefit from a system that she has supported?

Knowing GM, yes there will be bugs. Also -- from past experience, many quirks will be left unaddressed until there is a model refresh. So, you would have to wait 3+ years until they actually addressed the issues from the factory. I would at least wait a year for a few reasons: 1. let every else be GMs guinea pig and figure out what is wrong. 2. you may be able to get a better price in a year once the hype has worn down. 3. lets see if the Z28 materializes. It may be worth waiting for. Not trying to be cryptic here, but I have tons of stories from recent models that myself and the wife have owned that would take a long time to type out.
