  1. Wow that thing looks dangerous lol, but damn do i want to drive it. Whats up with him at the beginning? Trying to get going looks like hes never used a clutch before
  2. Have you thought about a side-by-side with a plow?
  3. After looking at the model some too, i bet you could finish an exhaust using PVC pipe or something and painting it black. Would be badass! I hope you end up doing this Josh and i think it would look badass when all is said and done and really help the front end look of it! After putting the model engine on it and a fishing seat it would be his own roadster!
  4. This ones a 426 Dodge Hemi but its also a 1/4 scale so it might fit better http://web4.hobbylinc.com/gr/hak/hak11053.jpg http://ep.yimg.com/ca/I/ehobbies-com_2272_2558767250 Found this in the comments on a website for this model: QUESTION: what are the diminsions of the engine model\? by None N 9/3/2012 STAFF ANSWER: the model is approximately 8.5 inches long by eHobbies C 9/3/2012 8.5 Inches seems like it would be a descent size, especially for the area you would need to fill. And its also a model so you two could build the motor together then put it on his wagon, like his own little project car Heres the link for the engine, its in stock and around $50. http://www.ehobbies.com/hak11053.html#tab2
  5. Mount something like this on the front over the axles. http://web4.hobbylinc.com/gr/rmx/rmx851442.jpg Or something of the sort! Thats a 1/6th scale so i doubt it would be far off. EDIT: Dimensions (Base Size: 5-7/8" x 4-3/4") Might not be big enough...
  6. I think a scale model motor up front would be awesome! You could also put the battery and whatnot inside the motor and just run wires out the bottom. (Assuming the motor would be a plastic cast of one, the inside would be hollow and you could mount the battery in there.
  7. This is for Springfield and Clark County, but i would assume the same is for Columbus. Whole Post http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2004/mar/03/county-outlaws-spectating-at-street-races/ This was a vote about charging spectators in street racing. "Hoping to prevent illegal street racing, the Clark County Commission voted Tuesday to outlaw spectators at the races. Before the 7-0 vote, Metro Police told commissioners that having the throngs of onlookers, many of them teenagers, is what makes the races events. The ordinance, which covers only unincorporated Clark County, makes it a misdemeanor to watch a street race from within 500 feet of the race." So if your within 500 feet of the people racing you can get a misdemeanor. What if we just stand further away?
  8. Also this is our LAW on street racing 4511.251 Street racing. (A) As used in this section and section 4510.036 of the Revised Code, "street racing" means the operation of two or more vehicles from a point side by side at accelerating speeds in a competitive attempt to out-distance each other or the operation of one or more vehicles over a common selected course, from the same point to the same point, wherein timing is made of the participating vehicles involving competitive accelerations or speeds. Persons rendering assistance in any manner to such competitive use of vehicles shall be equally charged as the participants. The operation of two or more vehicles side by side either at speeds in excess of prima-facie lawful speeds established by divisions (B)(1)(a) to (B)(8) of section 4511.21 of the Revised Code or rapidly accelerating from a common starting point to a speed in excess of such prima-facie lawful speeds shall be prima-facie evidence of street racing. (B) No person shall participate in street racing upon any public road, street, or highway in this state. © Whoever violates this section is guilty of street racing, a misdemeanor of the first degree. In addition to any other sanctions, the court shall suspend the offender's driver's license, commercial driver's license, temporary instruction permit, probationary license, or nonresident operating privilege for not less than thirty days or more than three years. No judge shall suspend the first thirty days of any suspension of an offender's license, permit, or privilege imposed under this division. Effective Date: 01-01-2004; 06-01-2004; 06-15-2006 The part i bolded says "Persons rendering assistance in any manner to such competitive use of vehicles shall be equally charged as the participants." but i dont know is spectating is considered assistance to the street race.
  9. Found this on Yahoo Answers, two ohio cops talking to eachother. Question Can a observer to a Street Race in Ohio be charged as a partcipant? As an Ohio Police Officer can I charge a observer to a Street Race as a particpant. the Ohio Traffic laws say particpating in ant manner. I can find no legal justification to charge a observer. Flag man yes. Maybe even an occuapant. But, to charge a observer with a M1 and then they loose a drivers license for not even operating is a stretch for me. My partner and I strongly disagree with each other. Any Case Law? Answer I think it would be tough to charge someone just standing around. Do you charge people who watch a bank robber run out of the bank? I agree that anyone that participates or supports them should be charged. But how do you articulate participation to people just standing around. If the people standing around all fled when LE arrived I would consider obstruction charges for them but not for drag racing (sorry, street racing; they changed the name since I started). Sorry, I don't know any case law to quote; just my opinions. Source(s): Police Officer, 12 years (Ohio)
  10. A lot of people say it is the Last of the real porsches, since all the 911's after this were water-cooled. These were the last gen's for the air cooled 911's.
  11. Am i the only one whos looking forward to seeing this car Farkas'd.

  15. This. I would HATE IT when i would go out to race, and fuckin 10 ricers follow us out of the parking lot, Makes me not even want to race. Its draws attention like crazy when 10-15 cars leave the parking lot just for 2 to race. One of the reasons i dont go to the meets anymore, its all highschool ricers. If they want to see the race you can have one chase-camera car, and just show people the video when you get back. Shit half the people up there cant even remotely keep up with the cars that do race so they just get left behind and barely see the race anyways.
  16. I figured youd like this. Link to write up: http://www.carthrottle.com/watching-this-audi-200-quattro-launch-with-anti-lag-is-a-beautiful-sight/ Video Mmmm 5 cylinder goodness

  20. x3. Never had a FWD car myself, dont plan on it anytime soon either.
  21. x2. Absolutely love RoadKill, would be sweet if it became a TV show.
  22. Because driving around in a supercharged 8.1l avalanche will definitely add some onto your license lol (Least Mine would, i couldnt help doing burnouts in that thing)
  23. That map is a wave height map from the tsunami, not a radiation map. Silly reporters... (Follow the "More" link in the article above, then read the comments on the page it takes you too. People explaining what the map is and how its been altered.)
  24. Have you tuned a car before? Honestly id just take it to Dyno Brian and get a good tune, that way you know its done right the first time. Would hate to see you finish this up and have your tune be off and cause issues after everything youve done. Can't wait to see a finished product and a dyno chart. Been following this for some time now and really like it. At first i wasnt sure of the v6, but hey its your car and its lookin good. You can still make plenty of power out of a v6 too.
  25. Saw this yesterday and didnt know he got burned so bad. I feel sorry for the driver and give him my best prayers.
