The NBA is big business, so it would make the best business sense for the league's big markets to thrive. Yet, the Spurs have won five championships over the past two decades under coach Gregg Popovich. San Antonio is among the NBA's smallest media markets by population.

 

The Lakers, Bulls, Knicks and Nets all failed to reach the playoffs this season. If the NBA has no problem sacrificing its long-term credibility for the sake of maximizing its profits, wouldn't it behoove it to do whatever's necessary for its big-market teams to thrive year after year?

The NBA is far too large of an organization for it to be rigged. Too many people would need to be involved. It wouldn't go one season without someone finding out, let alone the past however many years its been "rigged".

PittRace at the beginning of the month was awesome. Its probably my favorite track that I've been to. Long, Fast, Grippy, Beautiful. Id highly recommend making the trip if you havent been.

I used Craig Mahaffey out of Johnstown 2 years ago to deliver gravel. Drove about 30 miles from his site to check out my driveway and price the job. Not sure how he compares price wise though.

several years ago I had a lot of #4 I wanted to scrap. I built a small contraption out of wood with a hole in the middle that held a razor blade. You push the wire in to start and the blade split the insulation so you could separate it as you pull it through. Still work but made for quicker work.

I love the show but clearly do not watch it close enough. You guys are ridiculous.

Can you not determine the continuing cause of the issue? Seems like there has to be a fix available that maybe your builder is missing somewhere? Too many higher hp cars running around without issue...

Nasty black current gen Z28 behind me on Havens Corners yesterday afternoon. Black on black on black. Looks about 10 ft wide with the fender/wheel/skirt setup.

I have nothing useful to add other than I loved the N2MB box on my GTI. Gawd is was loud. Full 3" exhaust no cats. Do it in a parking garage and it sounded like gun shots.

They did get those bushings from us yesterday. Its common for us to buy parts from each other for same day jobs.

 

Iirc correctly we charge 3.5-4 hours total to install those same bushings.

 

And yes we always charge diag fee on top of the actual repair. That only makes sense from a dealer standpoint. There are a few exceptions if there are multiple diag lines and the customers buys in on a lot of the work. So I suppose I can't say always. But for a 1-2 line repair, yes.

Yeah yeah, when you are 18 and want a lifted truck you don't always make the wisest choices. It was like $700-800 to get 5" vs probably $2000 for a susp lift.

I did a lift and tires on my 07 2.7l back in the day. I think I did an OME (old man emu maybe?) 3 inch lift. It was springs and leafs. I paired that with a 2 inch body lift. It fit 33x12.5's on 10" wheels just right.

 

It was always slow and it only made it a bit slower after the tires. I put a catback on it for noise. I dont think intake or exhaust will make any power. I did do a clutch fan delete. I picked up a 3.8 taurus fan from the salvage yard and installed it. I used a universal rad temp sensor and relay kit to power it. Worked well. Helped with the pickup and quiet the engine noises down.
