  1. My understanding is a large part of the length of a warranty is based on the sacrificial anode rod. The longer the warranty the larger the rod. They are easy to replace, you just need to do it a little more often with a shorter warranty unit.
  2. Other than the places that have already been mentioned I don't know if a womens shelter would be interested. I have no experience, but I have been told that sometimes women is domestic abuse situations sometimes will leave with the kids and nothing else. They come to the shelter with nothing but what is on there back.
  3. Sorry I didn't make it out. After a day and a half of helping Wagners move, I was whipped.
  4. I'm still waiting on my advertising folks to get the lead out and get me materials, but I wanted to put the date out there so people can start making plans. The date for this years show will be October 6th. I believe the plan going forward will be the first Saturday in October. I just noticed this almost conflicts with Colo's classic, but we missed that one by a day. Again this year I will be looking for judges, sponsors, attendees, etc... Please consider judging. I try and make it as simple as possible. No paper forms. All on your smart phone. Scan the cars QR code and pop in your scores. Clay seemed to like the process a lot last year in comparison to what we've used at the Arthritis foundation show. If you have a business and would be interested in being a sponsor please let me know. We can offer several levels of sponsorship, and we can even offer you a spot in the car lot if you would like a presence at the show. The proceeds go to supporting our student clubs.
  5. Love that place. 9 times out of 10 you can ask for something bizarre and they'll walk into the back room and be out 60 seconds later with exactly what you need. The other 1 time they will tell you that they'll have it tomorrow.
  6. I had no issue with the prep, my problem was the short shutdown. I may have to get used to throwing the laundry if I go back.
  7. I had a great day to! Thanks for all that made it happen. Good food, good fun. I tagged along with Cordell for a couple of his autocross runs. That was a blast. Tied a personal best with an 8.49 pass, would have been a touch better but I was already on the breaks. I just barely made the turn off that pass. Looking forward to the next one already.
  8. I just checked, 24 Hour War is not on Netflix, but it is available with Amazon Prime. Added to my watchlist. Thanks!
  9. That's not a shitty intro. Welcome!
  10. And of course the weather looks nice in Xenia all day now. Welcome to Ohio.
  11. Looks like a real family movie.
  12. My car is almost ready. Since I had the motor and trans freshened up last year not much to do this time around.
  13. I'm checking with a couple guys I know to see if they might be interested.
  14. 96 Impala SS. 10 grand will get you something pretty nice.
  15. I believe this is going to be a trend. Not all, but many of the shooters I have known of wanted the record for the most carnage. They want the high score. It will only be a matter of time before it happens when someone decides they can't kill enough people with only a gun. Going back as far as Columbine, if I recall correctly they had a propane tank rigged to explode in the cafeteria. Luckily they were bad at making bombs and it didn't go off. At some point we will see a trunk sized or truck bed sized fertilizer bomb is my prediction.
  16. I have my doubts if this is helpful, but I used to install underground tanks. Some were gas stations. For most all of them we installed monitoring equipment that would measure the amount of gas in the tank, and had a separate float sensor that would tell if there was water in the tank. I think they might have been mandatory to prevent corrosion of the tank. The ones we installed were by a company called Veeder-Root. Ours would print out a receipt tape periodically with the status of the tank. I wonder if you requested to see their records if that would have any effect.
  17. I loved my Arsenal SLR-95. Milled receiver, shot great, never a single jam. It was a model sold during the assault weapons ban back in the 90s, so it was worth a little less than others because of the way the stock attached. I would buy one again in a heartbeat for a good price. Sold mine to Boosted_ACE on here to fund my Ruger Precision Rifle.
  18. Almendingers Sawmill out in Johnstown sells firewood. Pickup only. http://www.asawmill.com/split-firewood.html
