  1. Damn, I've been looking for a clean Avalanche for about 7 months now. I'm tempted to just buy this instead and be done. Can't find anything without considerable rust for a reasonable price.
  2. Leakdown tester. Goes on sale at 8:40. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B0030EVL60/ref=gbps_img_m-5_6a07_5e5a7922?pf_rd_p=e8290415-a5f1-47d2-9127-bfaea6866a07&pf_rd_s=merchandised-search-5&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_i=13887280011&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=4PDZQ8E8TEBAW2XA04PV
  3. Check this out as well. $10 off today and another $10 off another order later. https://primenow.amazon.com/
  4. Here you go. Brew more beer. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B000FTLY1K/ref=gbps_tit_m-2_33cd_fed562c1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_p=c012509d-d181-44f8-aac4-8fe0309e33cd&pf_rd_s=merchandised-search-2&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_i=14795746011&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=6CHZX4NS33NH8SB7JTVY 11 Gallon stainless kettle for $50
  5. I second this. Joe and Howard put on a hell of a class.
  6. I'll take the compressor. Mine got jacked when someone broke into my trailer a couple months back. PM me the address and when you're available, I can come this evening.
  7. I had something similar with the dragster stored in my garage over the winter. Found about 2 cups of dog food in one of the headers. Unfortunately some of it got sucked into an exhaust valve and crushed up in the cylinder. I had zero compression on that cylinder until I got it cleaned out and burned the rest of it up.
  8. Just a heads up. One of my neighbors is selling of some of his tools. Dewalt thickness planer $75. Craftsman radial arm saw. Other odds and ends. Pm me and I'll send the address. Near Galloway.
  9. I think I might join on on that .... the movie is terrible, but I still enjoy it.
  10. No, thanks, I asked and she has the crib situation nailed down. Maybe, I'll have to look around and see if we can find the rest of the pieces we need to make it a double rig. We found out last week ... twin boys, identical.
  11. I think it's actually 4 cams, 1 per cylinder per valve. From what I've read it has to do with the valve alignment in the head which is improved by keeping the pushrods parallel. Something about a holdover design from the old racers.
  12. Let us know what you think of it. I wouldn't mind having that kind of thing myself.
  13. We found out that my wife's daughter is having twins later this year. I know one of the things she is interested in the the big 2 kid in-line stroller (not side by side). Other than that I think we're still looking for normal stuff for babies. Anyone have stuff taking up space in storage they want to sell off? Thanks.
  14. I like the pricing on that set. I particularly like that they have a reasonable price on replacement parts. I have had at least half dozen of the Clock/Temp displays that show inside and outside temp. I still have every one of the clocks. They all display inside temp perfectly. None of the outside remotes functioned for more than a year. About the second battery change was their life limit.
  15. What is your definition of modern? 10 years and newer? Anything with electronic fuel injection? I might be able to have my 95 Camaro available.
  16. I'm a fan of buying refurbished. Normally still has at least some warranty, and roughly 20 or 25% off new. Microcenter typically has a decent selection. I would also recommend watching Woot, they usually have PCs once or twice a week. For a normal PC just doing regular stuff 8GB is fine, 12 would be nicer. An SSD would be really nice, but either expensive or cuts way down on storage. Maybe a smaller SSD for the OS and software with a mechanical disk for storage.
  17. Wagner was looking for something a while back for tuning. Don't know if he found something or not but this would probably fit the bill.

  19. I get this is just goofing off, but it's fun sometimes to think of ways to torment someone who is bugging you. I agree, the idea of competitors stickers/frames is fun. I was thinking too you could swap plates on the cars that don't have dealer tags. When the cops run the plates it'll come back to the wrong car. Maybe even swap only the rear plates so the front and rear don't match. Even swapping the front to the rear and the rear to the front would cause him some trouble.
  20. Sounds awesome! Looking forward to it. My schedule is pretty much wide open in the summer as long as I have a couple days notice.
  21. Once school is out for the summer I'd love to take you up on something like this. Just want to shoot for fun but don't have enough time to make it worthwhile to invest in a rifle for long range. I just have fun guns, nothing I would shoot past about 50 yards with.
  22. Wheel hop sucks and puts a crazy amount more force on parts than no hop.
