If you want a nice tack driver of a 10/22 look at Armslist from time to time for someone trying to sell theirs. I picked up one with $700+ worth of parts if you were to buy them new today for $350.

http://www.rguns.net/ Has a great selection of uppers if you find a good deal on a lower. They have some lowers but not really as well priced (IMHO) as their uppers. Otherwise armslist.com has tons of AR15's day in and day out.

Yeah the membership was well worth it to me. I've saved around $40 from the membership alone then as said there are a few coupons for members only. I got three ammo cans shipped for $10 because of a no minimum coupon for example.

Thats the only thing that steers me away from one. It's a great feeling gun but for the same price I could buy a DB9 and a Ruger LC9.

In the past few years I have had the starter, alternator, battery, most the interior door handles/panels/parts replaced because they broke with wear and tare. And who knows what else. With parts in labor I have dumped a ton of money into this I've just lost interest in continuing this project and have no desire to take on the labor and or costs for redoing the body/paint. That is really the only negative is the paint and body needs some work. The bumpers need some new clips all around and there is some rusting and a lot of clear coat coming off. The onlything mechanical wise is that it needs some new synchronizers it does not grab 2nd gear that well. All gears work great it just doesn't grab into 2nd really well.

I recently purchased an upper and lower from here, a lot of variety and a great price. Recently put a Nikon P-223 on it and moved the Eotech setup to my new rifle.
