I you have a VW/Audi product and don't have a set of torx and triplesquares, then shame on you!

The fridge cart or appliance dolley is a tall two wheel cart with a strap to hold the appliance on it and some special creaper tracks on the back to aid in going up and down stairs. They can be rented from local places like Sunbeam or possibly lowes. Keep in mind when you move it in two pieces it's only like 500 lbs each because the door is heavier than it looks. I've moved mine 3 times and each time the only thing I need help with is setting the door back on the hinges.
+1, use an appliance dolly. An big old guy and I moved our 800 lb safe down into our basement with one and it was a piece of cake.

Sweet, thanks for the heads up.
Cannon ship to Dublin, Toledo, Cincitucky, Columbus, Shaker Heights OH.
-
Yeah, but sweet acuras don't have front suspension failsauce, turbo failure, abs module failure, mirror leakage, instrument cluster pixelation, premature wheel bearing failure, self-destructing water pumps, etc. like your hella sweet Audi.
Maybe Acura will read this and see all the enthusiasts they've lost business from because they make retarded-looking cars. Probably not though.

Why get a gun? Get your shovel and toss the snow at his truck. When he rolls his window to yell at you, send another shovelful into his cabin. If you're quick, you'll get a couple in before he rolls his window up.
I'm with him. I would have approved a proportional response, like throwing snow onto his seat, oil on the windshield, whatever is handy really. Maybe you could leave some cinder blocks and nails where he shouldn't be, and if he finds them with a tire than he'll learn?

We have a kinetico softener, I'm honestly not sure how often it regerates. I'm thinking about every 2 days or so? At our old house we leased a brand new system that used about the same amount of salt, so I assumed this was normal. So 80 or 100 lbs of salt a week isn't normal?
-
Maybe we'll see it here in 20 years.
-
I have a few first-hand examples that would say otherwise. All stock, daily drivers at that.
And I can say that HONDA definitely made total garbage POS engines into 1981, at least in their motorcycles. Totally worthless! They're better now.

found something that might help
Thanks for the suggestion, but I'll just poo in the snow

Damn. Gotta give him credit for it, looks like he's got the right attitude.
"Hey, remember all that work you did? Go undo it!"
-
I don't remember seeing anything like that. The leech field is in an area where there are pretty sizeable trees growing, so I'm not surprised it's all screwed up.
-
Haha, I'd probably give him $900 for the glock 18 cup. I'd only buy the M16 if it comes with extra beverage though.
-
Do you have a dual leach field? I have two fields, I switch back and forth every 6 months.
Well water has its draw backs, but I prefer it to chlorine.
I honestly have no idea. I doubt it, the owner probably would have said something about it, but he lied about the septic system being 100% too, so...
Plain City says Marysville services our water, so I'm trying to get in touch with them.
-
$59? I'm so doing that.
and the $40 membership fee.
$10 says you break/ wear out something.
-
I'm going through a bag of salt about every 2 days, so it's not too much lugging around I guess. I'm in Union county, but I imagine the costs of $1375 would be fairly close. Thanks for that, I appreciate it. I'm not withing city limits I don't think (I'm about, 5 miles from Plain City).
I really don't mind digging up the yard and re-doing the leech bed to save a couple grand, because I only make $12/hr
I'm talking to the city now about it, thanks for the advice guys.
-
If it passes tech, it's suitable. I knew a guy who tracked a Saturn because his toy car broke the week before. There is no car on earth in which this would not be fun.
And don't worry about being embarasingly slow, either... if this is your first outing, you'll be embarasingly slow no matter what you drive. Best to drive 3 minute laps in a Fiesta rather than a Vette.
Haha, I agree 100%. I'd need to get my maintenance up to date first. Cutting out under boost isn't going to work
I wish I could get the bikes on-track for $59! I'd be there once a week!!!
-
so before you spend money on a septic overhaul, i would call the city and find out what they think.....hate to drop a few grand into the septic and then have to destroy it and run city stuff 6 months later
No shit! They require you to destroy the well and septic tank? That's retarded. I was guessing it would cost around $7k because that's what was quoted on a house I looked at awhile ago.
Thanks.

$59 for the one-session "Hyper Drive".
That's damn affordable, I'd be all about it if I had a suitable car.
-
Thanks, I may ask you for his number here shortly. Bonus points for a quick reply.
if the city builds sewers, arent you required to tap into them anyways?
I don't honestly know. There is a fire hydrant by my house, but the property is semi-rural so I'm not 100% sure if there are sewers there too. There is some type of storm drain, and a development just across the street I assume is all on city water/sewer.
-
Do any of you guys have any experience with changing a septic tank/ well water home over to city water/sewer? My leech bed isn't leeching, and it's either going to be city hookup or a leech bed overhaul in the near future. Any input on cost, hassle, timeframe etc would be appreciated.
Obviously with city water/sewer I won't have to do the salt-refiner thing, or screw around with the septic system anymore. Of course, I'll have the initial expense of hookups and then monthly bills.
-
I would if I could afford it. I'll be there on the bike though.
-
Sa Also must have a tethered kill switch attached to rider.
What? So you can't run a stock bike at the track? What's the popular method for a tethered killswitch? Like the kind of jetskis and such? I've never heard anything about that reg before.
-
That's a nice looking setup there.
I could snap a pic of my bench, but since the brass prices tripled I haven't been reloading too much. You might want to finish that outlet before you get too much stuff in the way though
