  1. Yeah, but e85 is a major failboat at this point and it's only here because the Federal subsidy of 54 cents/gallon, and more help from various states on top of that. Take away that, and try to let it compete with gasoline dollar for dollar, mpg for mpg and it gets pwned.

California is just being themselves and pulling away from America as much as they can to try and be "cool" and "cutting edge." What a bunch of retards. We should boycott Kalifornia.

Also, if you think E90-E100 is going to work, why don't you give it a try though an Ohio winter and get back to me.

  2. but knowing the way things are in D.C, the Rules Of Engaugement (ROE) will be rediculous.

    1. If fired upon, return fire with money launcher

    2. All non-American casualties will be treated first

    3. Only use lethal force if attacked by godzilla

    4. If non-Americans are killed, you will be prosecuted

  3. 2.8's are about the most reliable monster they put in A4's. Pretty slow, but reliable and decent on gas.

They're not that slow, I was pretty sure they were mid 15-second cars, which is plenty fine for a DD. I had one and never had any trouble. I got 20mpg in the winter, 25 in the summer. Good motor, but the rest is still a B5.

  4. its certainly not an all day process.. search box fan jerky it takes maybe an hour to prep the meat and marinade, and then 10 mins for put them on the furnace filters and strap them to the box fan.. the oven was good but took forever to do

Yep, +1 here. I like to let the meat marinade for longer than an hour, but whichever works best for you. Plus, it will make your house smell like tasty jerky, and there isn't any funky crap in there unless you put it in there.

  5. Yeah, the Kohler engines are generally pretty solid. I have two wheel-horses that are older than dirt, beat to hell, and both motors run great. Mowing with a new John Deer is very nice though, even one of the cheaper ones. The hydrostatic drives are nice for ease of mowing, but in my experience they don't like towing heavy stuff like the old gear-tranny mowers do.
  6. We can have drums?

Oh geez, don't get me started on this. Under the shady ORC it's only illegal if you have more than 31 rounds loaded in the firearm. My understanding/interpretation is that a drum or 31+round magazine is legal until you load it with 31 rounds, then stick it into a SEMI-automatic firearm. It's still something that really had only ever been tacked onto existing charges. Most places will ship to an unrestricted area of Ohio, apparently AIM no longer will. Shame on them.

  7. +1 to everything said. Even reloading it is pretty expensive. That being said, it will penetrate a propane tank, is really pretty accurate (propane tank at 100 yards isn't too hard) and they're made pretty well from what I'VE seen. You're much better off shooting .44s out of it than .50AE.
  8. Hammer and punch?

Shouldn't be hard at all really. You can try heating it a bit if it's being stubborn, but the pins should come right out. You're not drifting them the wrong way are you?

  9. Ha! Yeah, I can remember being happy that Hillary was defeated, but I never thought the American public would be foolish and shortsighted enough to elect this guy. At least some good has come of it, and it only cost us a little tiny bit of money.
  10. well, a race car designed to run between 7k-9.5k rpm isn't going to make good oil pressure at 2k, duh. Horrible comparison.

No, shifting at 2000rpm isn't going to hurt anything. Street cars are designed to have plenty of oil pressure at low RPM, because that is where they're designed to spend their time. I've had a few SBC's apart that I know I "lugged" the hell out of (4th gear off-idle acceleration, etc.) and there was no damage or abnormal wear to the bearings like all internet nimrods like to think there would be. Shift early, and enjoy your car lasting longer.

    Less rpm = longer life.

Oops, got a little off-topic. No, it isn't going to hurt your stock, production-car transmission. Unless you stick a Big-block behind a 901 trans, no harm done.

  11. I agree this is long over due... And it's more for the restaurants like Applebee's, TGI Fridays, or pretty much every restaurant that serves booze.

Post a sign if you don't want carry in your restaurant.... then I know to avoid it.

+1. Disarming because you want to grab a bite is bullshit. If a place posts the "no guns" signs, I'll just go somewhere else.
