  1. 996T can be had for 50K's if not cheaper. Get a set of GT30's and its game over nissan. Plus I can get one in a manual. Porsche > Turbo G37

    or chip for cheap?

And the Porsche won't have gay transfer case explosion, smg fail, hood-ram extension-fail, ricer "R", and it doesn't come from the same company that makes the sentra.

  2. There's a little more to it than that if you've actually read the conception to the production. I'm all about rifles that serve a purpose, not to mention the only thing AR about the rifle is the barrel, part of the bolt, and the fact it accepts M16/AR15 magazines. Don't get me wrong, I just bought an LWRC (in which I'll pick up in September), but I've been following this rifle ever since I found out about it. Personally, I need no reason to justify in it your eyes, but I bet I could bring the ACR out here to Afghanistan, and it would run like a champ.

BTW, the FR500C Mustang is $125K, but it is an all out race car for a fraction of most Le Mans cars. It too was built for a purpose, yet I guess a $5K with a few modifications equates to the same thing.

It's worth it to you, not to me. When they fall to the $1000-$1200 range like the 556 did, I'll consider. Right now, it's just the "new hot thing." I'd be a lot more interested in the .30cal version, but not for >$1200.

When you're as good as these two teams bullet size no longer matters..... It's all about placement.

Unless of course your enemies are wearing good goggles, a soft vest, helmet, or they're behind glass.

The .223/5.56 is basically a .22lr (yes, it is) with 50% more mass and 2000 fps more. That doesn't mean it won't kill you form a long way away through a sheet of metal.

  4. Man the gun forum has been getting some genius posters lately.

I agree man, you're going to need to rent and decide. Or, you could just get a sweet $400+ .22 ar. I like my ar15s because they're all black, and they match with my ninja outfit... although sometimes it's hard to carry my bowstaff and rifle at the same time.

  5. yeah, you really can't compare the two very well. The 10/22 is like the AR or the .22 world. There is such an aftermarket for them it's ridiculous. Paying $400+ for a .22 plinker is kind of stupid if you ask me. I have a cmmg .22 conversion I've used in may of my ARs, and it's fine for $180. Not as accurate as my 10/22, but it's a plinker so it doesn't matter.
  6. it really isnt goint to do anything a 10/22 won't for less than half as much. The .22 ars are pretty much for people who want to look cool, but are too cheap to get the real deal. Why kid yourself? Mark's idea isn't bad either.

If you already have an AR, getting a .22 bolt is a great idea for under $200.

  7. Yeah, I would pay the $900 that SHOULD cost, but it really isn't much different than a $600 AR with a piston kit and less room for modification. F that. Especially since AIM is trying to get $2300 or whatever for them. That's like buying an $80k dollar mustang.
  8. Your Ohio driver abstract spans the previous two-year period.

  9. I have one and rarely shoot it. For target shooting, it's basically a garand that you don't have to reload quite as much. Accuracy out of my regular NON mall-ninja m1a is about what you'd expect from a factory battle rifle. I think they're far too expensive for what they are. If it was a full USGI parts rifle with a forged receiver, I'd be a little more excited but it's hard to pay $1200 for a rifle that's a compromise of quality. Kind of like a sig 556.
  10. The S4 had the 2.7tt motor here in 2000, 2001, and 2001.5 (kinda a 2002). After that, they're 4.2 v8 until the spanking new ones. The V8 is a great motor, and the b6 v8 s4s have less issues than the b5 2.7tt, but they're pretty much how they come. If you want to modify it at all, you had better go with a b5 out of the two, as they are fast for cheap, inexpensive to buy, and have great interiors and driving experience. They do have a lot of issues though, and you'll be fixing stuff a bit.
  11. I'm currently looking for a B6 S4, but I am yet to the one I want. I almost did but it was a fail automatic. I am also looking at 05+ Grand Cherokee which at the point looks more and more likely.

You'll be happy for about 5 seconds, and then realize it's American and everything isn't wrapped in sumptous european leather and want to sell it. Just get a rover.
