  1. We used to have one in the office. We ran that bitch hard, at least 25 cups a day for 2 years and it never died. Kind of a PITA to refill the reservoir every few cups though. And you have to run a "cleaning" cycle of just water through it or you'll get cross-contamination from cup-to-cup. It would get all pissed off if a power surge hit it though, nothing a power-cycle wouldn't fix.

Honey roasted cashews. CVS runs specials on that shiz sometimes and they're delicious.

    Carrying concerns

Many people you can tell just by watching them if they're the type to carry or not, but in a rapid action being the only one with a weapon visible would certainly make you a target. That being said, no criminal wants to walk into a bank, demand cash and everyone's stuff, and have 5 pistols pulled on him.
  4. What a bummer. He did an awesome job in Spartacus. RIP.
  5. Sounds like you need a proper gunbelt. At the very least a $5 riggers belt should have no problem holding up your g22, but there's plenty of good stiff gunbelts out there that will fix that problem for you. Congrats, those are pretty popular for a reason.
  6. Good read, thanks for sharing. Glad you are all mostly okay. Is that an aimpoint? I bet it still works
  7. That's crazy man. God forbid people just talk to other people, or not text something as soon as they think of it.
  8. Done. Unfortunately, even if it passes and we ditch the front plate, it will probably still cost the same for license/registration.

    Big Reptile

Awfully nice of them not to kill it. Here it would have been put down.
  10. Yeah, daddy's car? All under 21 and they didn't even have their full driver's license, haha! You owe me a 10-second car.
  11. "Yeah, he only made me sit through 9.5 hours of classroom instruction! I still don't know which end of the gun the bullets come out?" Shit happens. I'm sure there are scads of people more or less "Signing off" on friends' requirements, but good luck catching them all.
  12. Dayum! Look at this guy! If you still need suggestions send me a PM and I'll dig up some of my recent Hawaii stuff. The Duke's restaurants are reasonably priced if you want to save some money. Buying groceries and cooking can be very money-saving, but some stuff (like milk) is 3 times what it costs here, while some is about the same.
  13. Good. That car is going to draw quite a lot of attention.
  14. This seems ironic considering the source. In fact, this sounds suspiciously similar to a recent chatbox conversion that may or may not have gotten me banned.
  15. I've been told by many many policemen from different areas that having anything other than the 100% correct tags makes you guilty of having "Fictitious tags" which is far worse than having no tags. Sure you're more likely to draw more attention with no tags, but seriously just tell him to go to the BMV and get a 30-day tag. It's not worth potentially getting ticketed, impounded, having to tow, etc. One asshole cop catches you and you're screwed. A cool one might let you slide.
  16. You might also want to try lightfighter.net. They're pretty serious and won't put up with 14-year old CR shenanigans though (if that's your thing).
  17. Just be glad the .gov hasn't completely outlawed cars older than x years. Yet.
  18. Those aren't carbs are they? What are the red turbo boxes, air-to-water intercoolers? Very cool.
  19. 14 in my ZIP. Damn criminals are everywhere. There's always so many people convicted of "Importuning" which is odd because it could be any number of things out of the big list of things.
  20. Sawmill sounds pretty good on Wednesday. When are you going to be around? I can do anything after 5pm.
  21. Interested in a microwave. What side of town do you live on?
  22. And another thing: If you're going anywhere you plan on stepping out of the car, wear your swimsuit and wear some watershoes or something that you don't mind getting wet. A lot of the hikes (depending on the weather) will involve stream-crossings, and you never know when you'll find an awesome place to swim. Watch out for bugs (don't get the Dengue fever or whatever), wear tons of sunscreen all the time, don't fall on the rocks, don't go in the lava tubes, and don't be surprised if your nice hotel has bugs coming in after a heavy rain.
  23. Island hopping is super easy, I walked right through the Hawaiian airports with no problem. Maui is very nice, there's lots of good snorkeling there. You can fly into anywhere, just go wherever is cheapest and see that island first then hop around. I'd make sure you hit Kauai as it's the least touristy of the bunch. Very third-world, but still America if you know what I mean. They've shot about a bazillion movies in Kauai so if that's your thing go you can drive to all the spots. On Maui I'd skip the "road to Hana" as it is literally HOURS of super twisty, edge-of-the-cliff, sometimes one-lane roads with rock-slides, gravel, idiot tourists, and drama. Unless that's your thing. Learn to surf, take a helicopter tour, snorkel, rent a Harley (fail), see the historical sights... You could easily fill a whole month with stuff and still not have done it all.
