Pay off my truck, put the rest into repairs on my house so I can sell my house, get a bigger house with more land and a separate building, and get my business training dogs going full time and start a family.

I am more comfortable carrying my glock than I would be a $4,000 Wilson Combat. If you have the safety off on a WC and drop the gun it can discharge, whereas the glocks have a special mechanism inside them that prevent the firing pin from engaging without the "safety" being completely depressed, even if it is dropped. Glock for carry any day.

My recommendation...do NOT buy a used turbo, and even be wary of "new" turbos you buy from people locally unless it's from a reputable vendor.

Saw this on Buckeye Firearms today. CPD in my area is cool and they know I carry a gun and they have told me if the person is in my house, shoot. Pretty much implying if I give them something to work with, I don't need to worry about anything. They are sick of the crap that goes on in my neighborhood and I think they would appreciate the help. God forbid I ever have to take someones life for any reason, but if you put me or my family in that situation and it comes down to you or me, I will ALWAYS choose me. It does aggravate me when they refer to the criminal as the victim.

Shoot, I have gotten two wreckless ops. Back when they were 4 points. One I got based on heresay, the cop and no law enforecement witnessed anything. I got it based on a witness statement in new albany. Officer Bret Hall. In fact, he had me come down to the station the next day and then gave me a street racing ticket and said he made a note they would not accept anything less than wreckless op. Long story short I fought it for 9 months then ran out of money for the lawyer and just took a wreckless op and had to take an 8hr class. When I left the NA police station he said something gay like, "remember, the eyes are always on you." Whatever. What a creep. Point is, cops/the law can do whatever they want and the younger you are, and the less money you have to fight it, the less you can do about being taken advantage of. Sorry I don't have any good news for you but time to understand you are going to be bent over and given the long you know what of the law.

What I don't understand is how consuming alcohol while carrying is a misdemeanor, but carrying in a bar or restaurant that serves alcohol and getting caught is a felony even if you aren't drinking. So it's worse to be sober with a gun in a bar than drunk with a gun anywhere else. I really don't get that. We need SB 239...

Agreed. I don't smoke weed because it is illegal. I would love to try and have friends who do it but it's not worth losing my job over and I am not going to risk everything involved with this illegal activity just to get high. When it is legalized, I will try it, until then, I will continue to occasionally pump my body with the legal poisons allowed us by our wonderful government such as a cigar every now and then, hookah, and beer/wine/liquor. As for the tobacco companies producing it, I would still rather buy from the dude across the street in his basement than by Ciga-weed from Marlboro. And there in lies the issue of it being legal, it's a lot easier to grow weed in your basement than it is to grow tobacco plants and make cigarettes.

If you have your CCW then you can have the gun pretty much anywhere loaded. If it is in plain site like the glove box or center console then it doesn't have to be locked, if it is in a container that is out of site the container must be locked. But it can still remain loaded. And the gun does NOT have to be in plain sight anymore. Have everything separated when you have your CHL would defeat the purpose of the CHL. And while we are on the subject of Concealed Carry, I urge everyone to e-mail every state senator of ohio urging them to support SB 239. I need to be able to carry in restaurants that serve alcohol!
