Thanks for the post. My wife and I actually make a game out figuring out how much our whole meal costs and comparing it to what it would cost if we were to eat out. For instance last night I got 4 9oz NY Strips from Carfagnas for $24, covered them in cracked multi-colored pepper, (about $.50 worth) and tossed them on the grill while I had 4 russet bakers in the oven and sauteed $2.80 worth of asparagus. $22 bottle of wine was a gift but lets just say I had to pay for it: Steaks $24 4 Potatoes $1.50 Asparagus $2.80 Sour Cream $1.00 Butter $.75 Onion powder, garlic powder, pepper $.65 Olive Oil $.30 2007 Sketchbook Cabernet $22.00 Total $53.00 $200+ dollar meal at Hyde Park (Would have been closer to $35 if i had gone with a decent table wine like Gato Negro Cab for $4.00) It's good time. My wife makes amazing 3 cheese stuffed shells in marinara sauce for next to nothing...

Shop and kitchen are my wet dreams. Freakin' awesome. Congrats man.

Already have a 90 TSi AWD. Wife would not be happy if I get another one...I wouldn;t have the heart to drive it in the salt and snow though either...

90 TSi AWD. Recently installed new front CV shafts, new rotors, new pads, new front calipers, stainless steel brake lines all around, Optima Red top w/ new terminals, HKS type 1 Turbo Timer, Autometer Cobalt boost gauge. Parts I have and am waiting to install once the snow and salt go away: apex'i N1 turbo back 3in exhaust, Punishment Racing FMIC, Dejon Intake, GM MAS with MAF Translator, Punishment Racing O2 sensor housing with dump, hardware to build my ground wires are in the mail. Gonna be sweet ( Ihope).

I am ghetto fab and rock a lot of Ecko...price negotiable at all?

Just like with the Michael Moore films there is an agenda…however, that does not mean there are not some very important truths. The fact that my chicken, beef, pork is washed in ammonia and/or bleached is disgusting. Pumping our food full of antibiotics doesn’t help anything either. Just makes the bacteria strains adapt and become stronger. I thought it was a good film but I have been discussing with my wife having our own garden and raising our own chickens and buying beef from local farmers that grass feed before I ever saw this movie. (Need to move out into the country first though) Just makes more sense if one has the means. One excellent point I thought was made was why is a twinkie cheaper than a bunch of carrots? I think that is one of the sickest things about our society. It is less expensive to pump your body full of poison than nourishment.

not bad price but here is my predicament...I don't even want to spend $5K on a CR-V but that is what my wife wants. I don't want to acquire anymore loans/debt so about the only thing I am willing to do that on is a CR-V for her. The other option is me finding something for like $1000 that I could maybe pay cash for that will work for the time being until i am in a financial position to get her a CR-V. Also, I used to have an S-10 and I can't fit in them worth anything. thanks for the response though. Not trying to be a dick or anything...just not quite what we are looking for.
