    Thanks dad!

Right on. Discipline is the key. Discipline is why I have respect for my parents and all figures of authority.
  2. I am sorry man. I had my truck broken into and my house robbed last summer. People suck. I almost wish they would do it while I am home so they can catch a nice Glock .40 up in their face.
  3. forgive my ignorance on this, but when a turbo is "rebuilt" does it need to be rebalanced as well or no? If so, is there even anybody locally that does that?
  4. Awesome how China pretty much owns this country. I am going to Vances to stock up for the invasion.
  5. I have 3 dogs, and here is my advice. First and foremost, a lot of K9 professionals will tell you that a puppy should be with it’s mother until 8 weeks of age. Separating them from their mother before than can have undesirable psychological impacts on them. Not saying they can’t still be good dogs, just kind of like kicking a kid out of the house at 14…he can learn do be a functional member of society, but he is always going to have some underlying “mommy didn’t love me” issues to some extent. However, since you have the dogs now, that point is moot for this situation. For my dogs, I kept their crates in my room so that the are still members of “my pack.” I would say they cried for a few days, tapering off near the end of the first week, and after about a week or so everything was fine. DO NOT take them out when they cry. This is just going to reinforce that they don’t have to be in their crate. You can also make their crates somewhere they WANT to be by making it a positive thing. Feed them in their crates. My Rottweiler loves going to his crate because we always made it a positive place. How you interact with your dog for the first 16 weeks of their life is important in determining their view of the world for the rest of their lives. For the first 16 weeks, you put in ¼ of the work and get four times the results. After the 16 weeks, you put in 4 times the work and ¼ of the results. I am learning this the hard way. Not that adult dogs can’t learn, they certainly can. Within the next few weeks I am going to have my pit mix getting me beers out of the refrigerator, but the obedience aspect would have been a lot easier to cover if I had taken it more seriously when he was a puppy than it is now. FYI, if you want on point obedient dogs, I would recommend checking out National K9 off Morrison Rd. They know what they are doing. http://www.nk9.com
  6. I worked as well. Apparently civil rights are not important enough to give us all a day off, however while in the cube of a black guy (he is from France too) I work with, was a certificate of excellence that listed a few of his accomplishments, the first thing listed, I kid you not, was "Minority," then it went on to list the others. Don't get me wrong, I like the guy and he is good at what he does, bot how is that not racist? Giving people stuff because of their race is just as racist as not giving them something based on race. This country is so effed up. Stupid. Gonna give me a certificate of excellence for being white? I think not.

    Pat Robertson...

Wondered how long until this subject ended up on here. I have been having an interesting discussion on columbusdsm.com about this.
  8. Very nice. GN is my dream car. Love everything I have read about them. I used to have an 86 Regal with the Olds' 5.0L and was a blast to drive, hopefully one day I will experience a GN.
  9. mediation is set for 6pm on Feb 4th. paid cash, have a witness there with me showing I bought it, also have text messages before and after the transaction showing I purchased it. As for all the, "you shouldn't have bought it, and this is your fault, and you are never going to see your money" comments, I know this. I don't need it stated again. I learned from the situation. That doesn't mean I am not going to try legally to make this guy's life more difficult. I lost $350.00, so I am going to try to get $350.00 worth of entertainment out of it. The guy is a total pineapple. (see this like to reference that comment). http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G2nTbqbtGug
  10. A couple years ago at the parking lot at Columbus Square by Cleveland Ave and 161, we had about 5 inches of snow on the ground and it was about 11pm and my buddy and I saw some cops doing donuts (with their car, not eating or having sexual relations with them) and then we went to the other side of the shopping center and talked to an officer who was filling out some paperwork in his car and asked if we could play around in the snow a little bit. He asked if we had been drinking, we told him no, he said to go ahead and have fun and to just stay away from the other cars in the parking lot and if another cop pulled us over, just tell them we were practicing for driving in the snow. The fun began. Cool cop.
  11. I have a cut off point. That is his advantage over me....He is a dirt bag with nothing to lose and I have a a cut off point. If I wanted it to just be done and was a dirt bag like him, I would just go to his apartment and jack his truck up; however, there is a right way to do things and a wrong way and the consequences of the wrong way are not worth it for me. So I figure I will have $350 worth of fun with this situation by making his life hard. I have is address, his work info, his grand parents info, which with the help of others, was not all that hard to obtain, just don't have his new phone # after he changed it, the day after he ripped me off coincidentally. I know he will get what is coming to him in the end, I would just like it to be from me
  12. Have yet to hear from the dude. Tomorrow I will be filing for mediation through the courts and if he refuses to go, doesn't show up, or we do not come to an agreement there, I will then file a civil suit and see where that takes us.
  13. So last night I went to his work, pulled up to the guard shack, asked the guard on duty if that was the gurad shack Jordon Whalen worked at since I had something I had to drop off for him, he said yes, I handed him the letter with Jordons name on it and asked that he make sure he get it. He said it wouldn't be a problem, I thanked him, then left. I then went to Jordon's apartment, where his truck was sitting outside, and I put another copy of the letter under his windshield wiper. No excuses now for not receiving the letter. We will see what happens. If I don't hear from him by the time I leave work today, a letter will be sent to his grandparents letting them know what kind of person their grandson is and asking them to consider talking some sense into him, and then on Monday I will take the necessary steps to start handling this through the courts. We shall see what happens. Will keep everyone posted.
  14. I sent him a certified letter he should have received yesterday or today. I am going to personally deliver another letter today. We will see what happens.

No kids yet...they are a little ways off.
  16. $350, why wouldn't you waste your time?
  17. I am good. I have my eye on a buschur 20G from a guy I have actually known for years, so when I recoup my money one way or another, I believe I am just going to go with that set up...he is cutting me a great deal on the turbo, exhaust manifold, all the lines, and external wastegate.
  18. It has been reaffirmed that it is not about what you know, but WHO you know. I owe a lot of thanks to individuals both on CR and Columbus DSM. I got bits and pieces of info from various individuals on both forums and and was able to get some info on my own...then it was just a matter of putting all the pieces together for the whole picture. I even have both of his grandparents (guessing on his mom's side) first and last names, home address, properties they own, businesses they own, and they are even members of a Mustang Club. Should this guy not cooperate with me outside of court, his grandparents are going to receive a letter on the kind of dirt bag their grandson really is...we will see what happens though. I am sending him a certified letter tomorrow and am giving him until 7pm on Friday the 8th to refund my money. After 7pm on Friday if my request to settle out of court isn't met, I will let the legal system settle this matter. See, I am a nice guy, I offer choices!
  19. Got this dudes info. Drove by the address tonight...confirmed...his jeep was outside. Trim needs cleaned up a lot-a-bit. Needs new windows (should be installed in about 3-4 weeks), and yes, gutters all need replaced among other internal things. Now you understand why the car is stock. As I get older, I have to spend my money on crap I need instead of crap I want. Just the way life goes I guess.
  21. Seller beware as well...he isn't getting off so easy this time.
  22. I am working on getting his address. Don't really want to go to his apartment as I don't want to get shot. I am going to send him a certified letter outlining his options. He can either meet me somewhere and refund my money and I give him back the turbo or I will see him in court and pursue this to the fullest extent of the law; and he WILL lose. Every cop I have talked too said with the mountain of evidence I have, he can't win. So he can do this the easy way or the hard way, choice will be his.
  23. Love it or hate it...he is going to find out.
  24. Yeah, well, hopefully I can make this dude feel the long dick of the law.
