#priorities Part of America's obsession with the deitification (did I make up a word?) of animals.

I like dogs, a lot. And I can't see myself eating one or wearing dog fur. That being said though, I don't have an actual moral issue with people eating dogs or wearing dog fur any more than people do with foxes, rabbits, cows, kangaroos, or what have you. So long as the animal is treated and dispatched "humanely", I can't say I have any moral issues with it. I'm not going to put much stock in a Hindu telling me I shouldn't eat beef, so I don't really feel it's my place to tell someone they can eat chicken, but they shouldn't eat dog.

There are ways to get dogs to overcome their fears. That was not one of the ways.

I'm ditching cable and landline, increasing my interwebz speed, and have an amazon fire tv on order. Putting SPMC on (pretty much a newer version of kodi from the same designer), exodus add-on, and will be cutting my entertainment bill in half. The fire will pay for itself in 1mo.

That Maverick is the tatas. I believe when he was on Jay leno's car show, (which was about the Z), Leno asked him what he would do next and I *believe* his response was a Maverick, to which Leno kind of scoffed like that was a ridiculous car to build. (I think, ha ha. It's been a while since I saw that vid).

Hot Fking Damn is right. That End. Bruh... I really enjoyed TFA, but this is much more gritty and grimey. I also didn't get the whole female lead PC vibe here. Yeah, there is a female lead, but she didn't magically know how to do everything really well right off the bat. And I felt that the other characters weren't far behind her in regards to being lead characters. I thought it was a great movie following a team. And again...that End. Will watch again.

Here is a good thread on this. I think some good opposing points are made.
