Zero complaints so far. Fills up quickly, holds air and is not super loud. Hopefully it lasts. The HF 18ga nailer is nice too. Ive put probably 400 brads through it and didnt have a single jam.
  2. Why not just use the vga port and so extended desktop? Or are you looking at one of those portable displays that require hdmi? If the later, then go with a display port to hdmi as already suggested.

This mornings project. The missus wanted a wine rack made from pallets so that's exactly what she got. http://i.imgur.com/gitdpvJl.jpg
  4. Got mine today. Smart me sent it to my folks house who have lived in the same place since the birth of jesus.
  5. http://www.hunter.com/gsp9700 How correct do you suppose this is? If accurate, it says the TD on polaris has one. Youre saying if i call them and explain the situation they will allow me to take it there free of charge?
  6. To answer a few questions... The tires i got were westlake RP18's. Yes, they were on the cheaper side, but that is still not an excuse to vibrate at highway speeds. It just sucks dick going to drop the car off and being out of commission for however long it takes for them to work on it. The last time they quoted me 4 hours and it was closer to 5..
  7. Alignment was included for "free"...
  8. 2-3 weeks ago i had a set of 4 tires put on the accord. Immediately after driving it i noticed a vibration at speeds of 55+. Two other people riding in the car with me on separate occasions also noticed the vibration. So about a week later i took the car back to where i had the tires mounted/balanced and explained the issue. 3 hours later i pick up the car and they tell me 1 front tire and 1 back tire was slightly out of balance but only slightly and that they had rebalanced them. On the drive home i notice the vibration is there there. This time slightly less. I ignored it thinking it was some sort of false issue i was creating in my head, but a week later the vibration is starting to drive me crazy. The ride just isn't as smooth as it was before. What ever is causing the vibration is also causing the "helicopter" effect in the cabin. Like where you have the windows open just enough it sounds like helicopter blades. Its not nearly as bad as having a window open, but its definitely noticeable. So, What would CR do? Take the car back and tell them the vibration is still there? Or man up and get over it?

Thanks for the pic. Here is a couple of things i have been working on the last few nights. Gotta start somewhere... . Basic birdhouse. Decent practice on getting cuts correct on the table saw. http://i.imgur.com/HhPVV16.jpg And a spice rack. Still in progress. http://i.imgur.com/nqFBBEV.jpg
  10. Jordan at Jett Auto. Just picked up a 08 accord with 41k miles from him on the cheap. I too used to have dealerships, but he makes the experience worth it.

    Costco FTW!

Put it in bank. Retire early.
  12. Amazingly enough, the RAP is showing something similar. RUC unfortunately seems to be broken. RAP.... http://i.imgur.com/PdOdB3J.png
  13. short range models hinting at some decent snows tonight. However last time it gave me snow in this range i ended up with flurries...So i suppose this is a worst case type thing. http://i.imgur.com/qGp8f6v.png
  14. Also had the freezing rain windscreen issue this morning up in waldo.

Welp made the buy. Built a little wooden crate for the missus tonight with it. No jams from the nailer and the compressor ran great. Only takes a second to refill. Assuming everythings lasts, worth the money on both accounts.
  16. They have those bobber fish finders now that connect to your phone. Pretty cray.

Sell me your 10 gal on the cheap Air sander, no. Pump up a tire or maybe take some lugs off? Maybe. Considering an electric impact for lugs.

Interesting.... I was looking at that 18ga 2 in 1, but suppose ill just stick with the nailer only. It has really good reviews. Does it only leave 1 hole? I have heard you have to dial in the PSI to the wood you are working with. Their 10 gal 125 PSI compressor is on sale right now for 99. Plus theyre running the 20% off right now so for $79 i dont think i can go wrong. Its an oil lubricated and has great reviews, so long as you break it on per the instructions. I told myself i wouldnt buy an air compressor from HF, but for that price... Damn.

Picked up a cheapo table saw earlier this week. Built a cedar bird feeder with it already. I am finding the table top to be a bit small so will likely be building a larger table for it. Air compressor and brad nailer next (if the waifu lets me)
  21. And i purchased a plow for the tractor. WTF MAN. General model consensus right now is an inch or two for the metro and increasing as you head south. The way things are trending right now, we might not get any by the time it actually starts snowing.
