You guys tired of me yet? Welp, got the rest of the router table put together. All in all, pretty happy with the way things came out. Its heavier than fuck, so i am going to need to make some sort of rolling base for it. Or handles at the very minimum. Finshed product: http://i.imgur.com/SMQPKc5.jpg http://i.imgur.com/Nz6NXSK.jpg http://i.imgur.com/yixbMsx.jpg Side note. I picked up one of those link belts for the table saw from HF yesterday. WOW. smooth as silk. Even a new rubber belt from autozone wasnt as smooth as this thing. Might do a review on it just because i'm so impressed with it.
  2. Less than a month old. Used it to build a simple wine rack and half of a router table. Still have the box and all accessories that came with it. I will do my best to clean the sawdust off of it before pickup. The stand comes off so you could easily fit this into your car. My loss is your gain. This is a hobbyist saw, not a contractor grade saw. If you are looking to rebuild your entire house, this is probably not for you and you should buy a dewalt or something similar. Yeah i definitely need to get dust collection under control. At this time i have zero. Side note, any where locally to get a link belt? I replaced the stretched belt that came with my saw but the new one was out of round too. Just enough to be annoying.

Made some headway on the router table this evening. I would have liked to have finished it but I spent a good deal of time assembling and tuning the new table saw. That thing is a beast compared to my rockwell. Today while at restore I found a large sheet of double sided 3/4 la minted particular board for $5. Couldn't pass it up and made a top out of it. Also used it to make the face of the fence which I hope to complete tomorrow. http://i.imgur.com/GWTzqsfl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/MXJhzygl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/xjItM7Il.jpg http://i.imgur.com/dQEA0ydl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/oiDBfHKl.jpg The plan for tomorrow is to get the fence installed then run the electricals. I am going to put one of those single switch / outlet combos to turn it on and off. The router has a button lock so I don't have to worry about using a ziptie, which is nice. Maybe try to find a trim strip or something to put around the edge to cover up my shit ty cuts. Any ideas?

Made some progress on the router table. Got all the pieces cut and started assembly. I did find a few mistakes in the plan that left me scratching my head for a few minutes. http://i.imgur.com/yKiNmDIl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/OEV482Kl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/lv4qe5sl.jpg

Ah, thought those were considered remodel tools If you can wait a few days, ill build one for you. Started a router table last night that is taking up a good portion of my "shop*" *Shop is defined as a corner of the basement with tarps hanging from the ceiling to keep the dust in. lol.

I think the design i posted above could be done for less than $15 bucks (pine) and a few hours of work. I don't mind the labor part as i find it to be somewhat therapeutic.

What he said. So you need seat height to be exactly 14.25? Child size i am assuming.

What about something like this? See 8th picture down. The plan calls for 25" seat height but that could easily be shortened. http://www.andrewharriswoodwork.com/free-plans/
  15. Super easy to work on. Parts are cheap.
  16. I have a d3300. Picked it up in october for like $310 shipped. Pretty decent beginner camera. Kit lens is okay but could be upgraded cheaply. I seem to be having a hard time learning the focus modes on it, but there are plenty of youtube videos on how to use it out there. Overall, would recommend.

Anyone know if 84 lumber will sell in small quantities or if i need to buy in bulk? I am really just looking for a single sheet of 5' X 5' X 1/2" baltic birch plywood. Menards and lowes doesnt seem to have it on their website.

Oh cool. I am thinking of building a router table for my router. I found this set of plans last night that i liked and seems simple enough. Since my table saw doesn't support dado stacks, i need an alternative and i think i can get away with it using a router. http://www.woodsmith.com/files/issues/195/quick-and-easy-router-table.pdf
