  1. Last one I fixed with that problem had broken synchronizer keys. That is extremely common on those.
  2. You can have swing Out door bars down to a 8.50 cert. Two of the cars in the shop now have 8.5 cert with swing out bars. Both of which I built.
  3. I would consider trades full or partial for lsx performance parts, complete lsx engines, transmissions, 4th gen fbody Aftermarket suspension parts, wheels and tires that would fit a 4th gen, race brakes for a 9"(which housing ends aren't that important yet) race brakes for the front of a 4th gen f-body or 72 nova. cars or small trucks(running)
  4. If anyone is at all interested make an offer. There are interior parts available if needed. This would make a great super stock car.
  5. I got a 2001 Camaro has a PK Race Cars Chrome-moly chassis in it. It was built to 25.5 specs but not currently certified. Has a Strange 9" housing with 4-link. Any questions call 740-928-1100 and talk to Brad. $3500 http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c122/ohsolow1/IMAG0035.jpg http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c122/ohsolow1/IMAG0029.jpg http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c122/ohsolow1/IMAG0028.jpg http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c122/ohsolow1/IMAG0032.jpg http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c122/ohsolow1/IMAG0033.jpg http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c122/ohsolow1/IMAG0031.jpg http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c122/ohsolow1/IMAG0027.jpg
  6. I was thinking the same thing. If it don't sell soon I may do that, I have several 6.0's laying here.
  7. The floors look good except for 1 spot by the rear control arm on both sides where they all rust. It isn't bad though. The car looks like it leaked enough fluids over the years to preserve it. The rear body panel where it attaches to the trunk floor is rusty but it is at a point right now that it could be touched up fairly easily before it gets out of hand.
  8. I don't remember seeing anything serious but I will have to take a look to be sure. I will let you know.
  9. I had a 2002 Grand Am which is basically the same car do this and it ended up being the ignition switch. I bet you are having the same problem, I think that it's a common problem. Local dealership had the parts in stock.
  10. 1994 Camaro Z28 Rolller Former LT1 A4 car, Hardtop, no rear window defroster, Lowering springs, Richmond 4.10 gear, Trans cooler, 1 3/4 rollbar $1200 http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c122/ohsolow1/ForSale138-1.jpg http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c122/ohsolow1/ForSale134-1.jpg http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c122/ohsolow1/ForSale132-1.jpg
  11. 1998 Chevrolet Camaro original v6 car ls1 swapped. Hard top, crank windows, Rear window defrost, modified AC delete heater box, 3.42posi rear end. The engine and trans are out of a 98 z28 with around 50k miles. The engine has a ported ls6 oil pump, double roller timing chain .59x lift cam, patriot heads, LS6 intake. The exhaust is longtube headers with an h-pipe and bullet mufflers , the car is pretty loud. The trans is all stock with a 3000 stall converter. Also included is an SLP air box lid with the baffle that goes in front of the radiator, 160* stat, custom ram air through bumper openings, driveshaft loop, Mickey Thompson drag radials and I am sure there is more but can't think of anything else right now. The car has ran a best of 11.53 @ 119 I have repainted the underhood when the engine was out with base/clear so it is all gloss and also the front bumper when we shaved the holes for the grill. The rest of the car needs some attention it does have some small dings and scratches. My father and I have had and done all the work to the car for the last 5 years including the swap. $7000 Here is a pic from when it had the 17's on it, it currently has the stock 16" wheels. http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c122/ohsolow1/98Camaro.jpg http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c122/ohsolow1/Picture044.jpg http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c122/ohsolow1/Picture041.jpg http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c122/ohsolow1/Picture042.jpg
  12. The car used to work really well back when it was all together. It was from the Detroit area. This picture pretty well explains why the rear bumper is rough around the edges. http://motorcitynationals.com/v-web/gallery/d/234552-1/TPG_9571+copy.jpg
  13. 2001 Mustang Cobra Racecar No Motor, No trans. Chrome moly cage. 8.8 rear end with tubular upper and lower rear control armsA. Alloy axles. 3.73 gear Front suspension is all stock. This is basically a bare shell there are no brake lines, fuel lines or wiring. It does have the factory carpet, console, dash, head liner and door panels inside. Rear bumper has been cut for wheelie bars and there is tabs welded on the rear end for wheelie bars however none are included. $3995 Check link for more Pics http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail.jsp?tracktype=usedcc&csDlId=&csDgId=&listingId=44261848&listingRecNum=0&criteria=sf1Dir%3DDESC%26stkTyp%3DU%26crSrtFlds%3DstkTypId-feedSegId%26zc%3D43025%26rn%3D0%26PMmt%3D0-0-0%26stkTypId%3D28881%26sf1Nm%3Dprice%26rpp%3D50%26feedSegId%3D28705%26dlId%3D2175458&aff=national http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c122/ohsolow1/ForSale395.jpg
  14. I will make some calls here in the next couple days and see if I can't get something worked out. I have heard great things about Eric@IPS and Dynotune.
  15. 1998 Camaro. Patriot heads, 590 ish lift cam (I have the specs), Longtubes, bullet mufflers, LS6 manifold, 160 stat, 3000 stall, GTP 36# injectors, 3.42 gear. I have had the car running for several years now it has went 11.53@119 but I would like to get a good tune and have it put on the dyno. Let me know some prices I would like to get this straightened out it never has really been right.
  16. I work at a local RV Dealership and had a customer come in with a motorhome wanting to know if we offered any kind of tuners that might help his gas mileage. I was wondering if anyone on here might be interested in doing a tune. It is a 2003 Fleetwood Pace Arrow on a GM Workhorse Chassis with a 8.1l and Allison Trans. Let me know what you guys think BTW he is currently only getting 6mpg and would like to get around 8 or better.
  17. I'm in, 12.0 class. Now I have to detune the 98 camaro to go that slow. Hope to see everyone there.
  18. The one I did I had to notch the frame and drop the bottom of the radiator support down, It was a lot of work. Turned out nice though. The f-body radiator is pretty tall compared to a S-10.
  19. You can put a Factory camaro radiator in there I've done it but it takes a lot of work. The LS1 f-bodys have the inlet and outlet on opposite sides. The top hose goes to the left side and the lower to the right.
  20. Why not just use the 4.3 radiator, it should be big enough. Or use a late 80's corvette radiator thats what I used in the LS1 Blazer I did.
  21. The piece that bolts on the back of the lid is just held on by a handful of torx head screws. The lock cylinder might also be different but you will have to change it regardless. I used a sedan lid on a coupe that I fixed about a year ago. I don't have any part numbers though.
