My father and I opened this used car lot just East of Hebron 2 years ago. We sell some performance oriented cars like f-bodies, some sport compacts, and even some older Muscle cars. We have been concentrating on fuel efficient cars here lately. Most everything we sell have rebuilt salvage titles. We have been building them for years because we can sell them cheaper than clean title cars. We do get some clean title cars but the way the used car market has been the clean title cars just sell for too much money at the auction. Also, just wanted to let everyone know I just ordered my new paint booth. It should be here sometime this week. Once I get it set up I will be doing some paintwork. So if you got anything that needs done let me know I should be able to get it done for you. Everything should be up and running by mid February. We are not going to be doing any insurance work just customer pay jobs. This 66 Nova is one of the last Customer cars we have done. I will have to see if I can round up some more pictures of other cars we have done in the past. http://www.chevyhiperformance.com/featuredvehicles/0903chp_1966_chevy_nova/auto_meter_gauges_grant_steering_wheel.html Here is an 05 GTO we just finished a couple of weeks ago. http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c122/ohsolow1/Sold/Picture079.jpg http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c122/ohsolow1/Sold/Picture082.jpg

I typically use Carquest Brand Heavy duty Glass Cleaner With ammonia. It comes in an aerosol can. The ammonia is what I have found is important. I use a razor blade on the side glass. Just spray it on let it set for a minute or two, then start scraping make sure the glass stays wet. Just be careful not to scratch the glass. On the back glass it just plain sucks, paper towel and glass cleaner with a lot of elbow grease and time.

You can count me in I will have one of the 5 I've been working on there.

As long as the lights work you should be good to go, I don't think they check any safety items. As said before make sure you don't have any tags on it when you drive there, thats a big no no. The inspection reciept is all you need to legally drive it to the inspection. If you didn't replace anything then you shouldn't need any other reciepts. They just check and make sure the parts aren't stolen on the car. They check a couple vins and make sure they match and send you on your way. If you are going to Columbus it should go smooth those guys there are pretty easy going. I usually take between 2-4 cars a month there so if you have any questions just ask.

I had a problem once, the exciting wire you are talking about on some gm cars only needs to be 5 volts. Anything more than that burns things up. That might be something to check.

I just got this in an email http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c122/ohsolow1/Sold/image001.jpg Dear Mrs. Jones, I wish to clarify that I am not now, nor have I ever been, an exotic dancer. I work at Home Depot and I told Sarah how hectic it was last week before the blizzard hit. I told her we sold out every single shovel we had. Then I found one more in the back room, and several people were fighting over who would get it. Sarah's picture does NOT show me dancing around a pole. It's supposed to depict me selling the last snow shovel we had at Home Depot. From now on I will remember to check her homework more thoroughly before she turns it in. Sincerely, Mrs. Smith

Those guys at Hinson Supercars do awesome work. I just got some parts from them last week and they are super easy to deal with. That car is nuts btw. The video with all 4 wheels off the ground is crazy.

Changing pins and bushings is pretty much universal. Some are a little different than others but its all the same concept. I would change the pins if you change the bushings, they wear also.

I heard the IHRA is wanting to buy it but can't come up with the money. That would be the best thing in my opinion. They would put the money needed into the track and I am sure they would have a National event. It just hasn't been the same since NTR lost the NHRA Pontiac Nationals. Not that I ever raced it but it was fun to go to.

If they try to lowball you have an independent appraiser come and write something up. I had a buddy that had a bunch of stuff done to his S-10 and the insurance wanted to give him basically nothing because it was a 1992 with 130k. He ended up alright on it.

Congratulations, my son was just born on the 21st. It is great!!!

Welcome, I am new here also. You should let us know when you take it out to trails. My shop is about 5 miles east of there so I go out there regularly.
