I'm about to order a BURN2 and the memcal adapter and a couple blank chips from Moates here in a week or so. I just found thirdgen.org the other night. I got some 5.7 injectors and modded the fuel pressure regulator to make it adjustable today and it was a huge improvement. It still desperately needs a tune but I'm able to go WOT and have fun with it till I get the stuff going.

Yes I am sure it is a tuning problem, sorry I should have been more specific but this is a V8 swap truck. Its far from stock, I edited my first post with engine info. I dont want to have to resort to a mail order tune.

I need to find someone locally who can tune my truck, I am running the stock V6 tune right and while it runs all right cruising but it falls on its face above about 50% throttle. I talked to Brian from mobile chassis dyno and he doesn't have the equipment to burn chips, he offered to do it if I purchased all the equipment but I don't want to do all that. Can anyone in Columbus do it? It is a 95 S10 TBI. Engine is a Vortec 350, Crane cam - Duration @ .050": 216°/228°, Lift w/1.6's: .484"/ .512", LSA:112°. Performer RPM intake with Holley TBI adapter plate and a throttle body spacer, Hooker LT's, stock stall, stock 4L60. The harness, TBI unit and computer are all what came in the truck when it had the 4.3.

Ok just got off the phone with the Napa warehouse, they have 0 and 2 gauge but only sell by the spool. Most of the audio shops sell it but only 0 gauge looks like I'm going to have huge wires. Thanks guys. I just called Andersons, they carry home electrical wire that's the same size as 2AWG but the strands are alot thicker and its not very flexible, its $2 cheaper per foot than anywhere else though.

Does anyone know of any places that sell 2 gauge wire by the foot? I have checked with all the normal automotive shops in the past and ended up having to order it off the internet. I'm having electrical problems with the S10 and I need a 5 foot piece and I'd like to get it taken care of tomorrow, not a week from now when some place on the internet finally ships my order. Would it be worth it to call around to audio shops tomorrow, I've never tried looking there. Thanks

You replaced just the cover or the entire motor? I would have put a motor assembly on it if I were you.

Nice lookin S10 is it a V8? and thats a sweet formula too, I hate those wheels, I have those same ones. Mine is purple though. How many posts do you have to have to make a new thread in the for sale thread? I need to try to find a few parts.

You can go out and get 2 of those little battery powered LED flashlights that are on a strap you wear around your head when your walking or riding a bike. Then go to radio shack and get little IR emitters, get how ever many IR things as there are LED's in the light. Then all you have to do it take the lights apart, un solder the LED's and solder in the IR's and find a way to mount them above or next to your license plates. The IR makes it so cameras cant see it, it just looks like a spot light coming from your plate but its not visible to people. Works with video or still.

I never txt while driving it but I can type using T9 without looking at my keypad or screen.

I have a boxer mix, mother was Boxer, father was Bull mastiff. Shes 7 months and weight 60lbs so I think shes going to get huge.

Hey man, it is what it is. I traded another car for the truck and I already had the motor so I'm happy with what it is for what I paid. Its better than a carb for something I'm going to drive mostly on the streets and its a hell of a lot cheaper than a TPI setup.

Thanks guys, I was trying to get all the parts before I started but then the old motor blew up so I had to go ahead with it. I still need to find a pair of headers and fab up the rest of the exhaust. Plus I have to get it tuned but I'm using a v8 ECU so it should run just not to good once I get the exhaust on it.

Hows it going guys, I'm Dan. I got on here to find out about track days and hopefully to be able to check out the for sale forums to pick up the last few parts I need to finish my 95 V8 s10. I also have a 93 Formula and a 95 K2500. She still needs some work but here are 2 pics. Engine is a 350 with ported Vortec heads with screw in studs guide plates and 1.6RR's, 9.6:1 LT1 rotating assembly, Performer RPM, and a Crane 114124. It has a 4L60E and a 3.08 10 bolt with a mini spool and as you can tell its TBI.
