I am trying to find a piece of flexible intake duct that is at least 24" long and 3"+ in diameter without and major bends. I walked threw the junk yard yesterday but didnt see anything I thought would work good enough to pay for. I'm talking about the black rubber ribbed piece that is usually between the MAF/throttle body/air box. The best I could find were the older ford trucks, those are long enough but not very large diameter since they use 2 from the TB to the air box.

I put my L31 intake on today, all together, including buying the intake from CL, the machine shop, the weather-pack connector I got to make the injector harness, new cap and rotor and misc fittings it cost me $65 plus what ever they charge me for the throttle cables tomorrow. Not for that new drop spindles are only avliable up to 98, once they changed to the sealed style bearings no one offers drop spindles for them. Oh and in order to use lifting blocks in the rear you'll first have to put the axle under the springs, just that would bring it up some. To go the other way with the rear and lower it you can just take one leaf out, the ZQ8 (sport suspension trucks) come factory with only 2 leafs and the bottom load limiting leaf they all have. BTW there is a difference between 4cly and 6cyl springs.
