  1. Welcome. You should come join the OVR SCCA AutoX events (if you aren't there already... and I'm oblivious).
  2. Sad I missed out.... I love turbos and ta tas.
  3. Harmless yes, but as others said, I would probably lose it regardless. Having stepped on large sting rays in the Bahamas and had encounters with barracuda in San Juan, I can say that size isn't everything to scary ocean life... but it's still a big part of it.
  4. Very clean! It wouldn't hurt to put it up on zcar.com either.
  5. Thanks for the shout out Clay. Since we have check-in and tech tonight (6-9pm), I can totally get away with a good 15-30 min at CC&C tomorrow. Nice.
  6. That has to sound phenomenal. And I'm over here getting excited about 15 psi...
  7. I'm thinking it's going to rock pretty hard. But I've been wrong before (*cough* Wolverine *cough cough*).
  8. I would but SCCA Points Event #4/5 are this weekend.
  9. Damnit I need bigger turbos. Welcome; nice ride.
  10. 1987 Toyota Supra Turbo 1992 Nissan 300ZX NA (now TT) 1995 Acura Integra LS 2005 Volkswagen Jetta GLI
  11. As soon as I figure out why my brake line started to leak when getting off the dyno.
  12. I appreciate the comments. Thanks Coty. Yeah, I was hoping for a bit more - but that was based on me believing that the car wasn't running right... when in fact, it actually was for the most part. What's funny is that the final numbers were almost perfectly identical to my original pull a couple years back; consistency makes me happy. Thanks, and thanks for all of the help. Likewise about your Mustang; love the wheels and color.
  13. For the impatient: 331 rwhp / 354 rwtq @ 14psi. Well, after a year or so of other things taking priority, I finally got back to the dyno. I can't thank Brian enough for all of his flexibility, time, and knowledge. I think I slept better last night than I have for a couple years, knowing that the car is running so well (despite some things leaking here and there). I highly recommend Dyno Tune Motorsports; finding a solid dyno shop is like finding a trusted doctor. http://flux21.com/forums/070109_dyno.jpg In case it's not too clear, the blue number was the last pull after some final adjustments. I still have a bit of a wavy AF, but I think that's due to the rpm adjustment points on the S-AFC II being too far apart. The boost was holding at 14psi, then tapering off a bit. Once again, big thanks to Brian and his crew at Dyno Tune Motorsports. Despite it not being "fast" compared to some of the beasts on this board and in the area... I am VERY happy with how she pulls now.
  14. Nice MR2 - nothing but love for those cars.
  15. I've read so many reviews on this, and regardless... I'm seeing it while pretending to be a kid again. Big robots fighting, misc. nonsense, explosions, and Megan Fox. Sold - even if there is no plot, crappy dialogue and I get lit on fire half way through.
  16. Sorry to hear. I can't believe he attempted to argue with you about it either. Hopefully his insurance company doesn't get all high-and-mighty, and you get things wrapped up quickly.
  17. We've got a double-dose of AutoX that weekend, but I'll shoot over after things wrap up. Hopefully there will still be a hotdog or two available.
  18. And have come to terms with it.
  19. Hi. Both of my cars need an alignment, bad. We should be friends.
  20. Hai. Eventual +1 for choosing a sensible time to get back into a horsepower addiction. Post some pics/specs.
  21. "Dropping a tranny" at AutoX.... LOL. My POS 165k mile, 17 year-old tranny built for the NA model is holding up just fine after 7 years of AutoX.
