  1. I won't be buying it, but it's kind of cool. Lol @ skittles + narnia.
  2. Gravity bleed it, it is how I do all my clutches. I had the same problem with my 88 fiero, I was doing pedal down, close the bleeder, let up. And it never got hard. Take the reservoir lid off, fill it to the top, open the bleeder and wait. Give it an hour, keep topping it off. Tap the slave with a wrench to make sure there are no bubbles hanging on. Sort of time consuming but its free and works.
  3. I think my buddy paid $5k for his with 110k miles. Those parts don't make it worth $4500 more. Given condition and parts, maybe its worth $6k-$6.5, personally I'd let that truck go. You don't offer people $4000 of their asking price even if the price is ridiculous.
  4. LM002 did 0-60 in 7.8 seconds, http://www.lambocars.com/archive/lm/lm002s.htm 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited (5.9L) 0-60 6.8 1/4 mile 15.2 (MotorTrend Jan 98) The Typhoon however was much faster.
  5. Chill out dude, when did I say IRS sucks? All my cars are IRS, because I understand it is better. My F250, my dakota, and my wrangler are solid axle, see a pattern? You're not a mustang buyer, nor am I. I was just noting that in the past, mustang buyers, didn't go for the IRS.
  6. The people who buy mustangs hated the IRS Cobra. So why would they do it again.
  7. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/96-98-Ford-Windstar-3-8-Upper-intake-manifold_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem4a9f06f905QQitemZ320495614213QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories $60, I don't know if you need the lower intake or not, but you can find that on the bay for $45 too. Or go to a pull and pay and probably pay $50 for all of it.
  8. 70 and 90 is a big range. 70mph is more or less the speed limit and that could be him not paying attention and ACSD. 90mph is reckless on its own. Who knows, he got his 15 minutes on AOL news, which, btw, who the hell reads AOL news anymore.
  9. Agreed, and like I said, I've never taken oil that far. I do however push conventional oil to 5000 miles in my truck. I run semi-synthetic in my 88 and mobil1 in my supercharged car and only go to 5000 miles. My girlfriend also has a 2006 A4 2.0T-Q, IIRC the audi interval is damn near 10,000 miles too. She goes 5000 on Mobil1.
  10. That's what my 328i was. I never actually went that far. Mobil1 is "*guaranteed*" to 10,000 miles. They call their synthetic blend a 7,500 mile oil, and their extended service full synthetic is 15,000 miles, or as they call it, a once a year oil change.
  11. 4.7HO is just as fast or faster. But the ZJ is a solid, well supported platform as is the 5.9L Magnum motor. I've driven a stock 4.7HO and it felt as fast as the 5.9. I prefer the ZJ platform though, it's a preference thing. However I never have, and probably never will own either of them.
  12. I'd rock it, I think the new new mustang is the best looking of the camaro/challenger/mustang pack and now this motor makes respectable power. The intake manifold is pretty ugly, but nothing that can't be fixed. Ecoboost mustang... return of the SVO?
  13. I wouldn't mind knowing who does your coating either if you don't mind. I don't have anything at present I need coated, but I in the future I may. The gold stuff looks awesome.
  14. Sounds like the OP has a 5 year plan and wants to spend $100 here, $300 here over the next couple years to keep his DD interesting. Fair enough in my book. Go buy the damn windstar intake. More power than the gasket, and cheaper. And when you pop the hood you've got something to show for, hell paint it red or something make the car even faster. If pulleys are cheap, why not. Sounds like you need to get on the V6 mustang board and start trolling the for sale section. I wouldn't spend more than $100 on pulleys because they just don't add that much to the car. For like $100, 3-5hp isn't bad, and they look pretty, but like $300-$400 for pulleys is a waste. That is my opinion. Lower it too, mustangs ride higher than my F250.
  15. Fair enough, it does vary situation to situation, but a flat fee of $99 for a 1/2" dent strikes me as too high.
  16. Looks good, I like the size, there are enough dubbed f-bodies. +9 on the lower though.
  17. I always used the dent wizard guy that comes to your house when I was down in cincy. The guy was a friend of my dads and if it didn't come smooth, you didn't get charged. Awesome guy. $99 for a single dent sounds like a shit-ton. I remember spending like ~$150 an having an entire car gone over.
  18. When I first heard a low number porsche and high mpg, I was like crap, lets hope they aren't giving the 924 another go. But wow. Hotness.
  19. My buddys got one, was running 14.8 on a cutout and an air filter with 130k miles. We put a cam in it and an SCT tune, haven't had a chance to hit the strip yet, but they are bad ass rides. I was always under the impression the ZJ was the fastest of the the 5.9s.

Well put haha, it has so many obvious faults, its annoying, you don't like its parents... but damn it's good when it works right.
  21. I'm like that, I don't listen to anything but pandora, I actually took some music off my phone because I don't even use it as an ipod. I think pandora does a better job shuffling than my itunes does.
  22. I like the interior, and the older TL-S 6-speeds were fun with FWD, so AWD should take care of their torque steer, but yeah... god its ugly.
  23. Thank you! "effective mpg" is a bunch of bullshit. MPG calculated behind a desk on a car that has never moved is hardly a firm number. Yet I'm sure a ton of people will be talking about how they can't wait until that car comes out since 202mpg is now possible. Rides on 195/50/20s, shit where would you find those.
  24. I'll have to try it, we did Little Ceasars last night. Yeah it isn't all that good, but you don't really have to think about it, you go, I want pizza, and $5 and 4 seconds later, it's in your hands. I haven't had dominos in years it used to suck so hard.
