The E63 coupe isn't out yet, and the C63 and E63 are sedans. So they don't offer a GT yet. They do offer the CL63/65 but he specified the 911 non turbo which to me says a $180,000 car is out of budget. Edit I stand corrected: CL63 - $145,000 CL65 - $207,000

Ever driven an audi? They drive pretty nice and for all looking the same they all happen to look good. (I actually like S14s so I'm not totally ragging on you) A vette isn't a grand tourer.

911 is a shitty grand tourer, awesome cars but tiny trunks, tiny back seats, and not all that comfy. I'd say the Jag or the M3. I think the M3 is a better car but less people have XKRs. Maser is ugly IMO.

I am parting out the interior on my 1990 Jetta GL. Yes this is listed on craigslist. I bought this car for the motor, and the three Mk2s I am keeping all have gray interior so this is of no use to me. I was surprised at how nice this interior is. The flash washes out the color, the color is very good, they do not look faded in person. 3 pencil eraser sized burns on the drivers seat, and one on the passenger. Rear seat is very nice, rear deck looks good, door cards are in good shape. People on ebay are ASKING (I know asking isn't what they are getting) $100 a seat. I want: $40 per front seat $50 for the rear seat $20 for the rear deck $25 each for the door cards I've got some older Mk2 door cards, not in as good of shape, $10 a pop? I've got a K&N air filter for a 1.8 gas Mk2 Jetta. Element looks brand new but the PO put it in upside down and chewed up the one edge, looks very good though. $54.90 new, $20 for this one. Airbox off of the 1.8L Jetta, this car had multipoint. Ebay wants ~$50 shipped without an MAF. How about $30 with the MAF. The dash top isn't in very good shape but I'll sell other parts of the dash, other trim bits out of the interior, these are just the major parts. Let me know about anything else you need. Not sure what this stuff if worth, I just took ebay prices and cut them in half. The kit is $12,999, $3k for sending it out to be dyno tuned and installed people who know what they're doing isn't really a surprising number to me. I wouldn't buy it, but I am hardly falling out of my chair. Active Autowerkes wants $9-$12k for Supercharger kit. Apparently they don't list twin turbo kits on their site anymore but IIRC the E39 M5 kit was over $20,000.

Car had a fueling issue and on the Mercedes 2.5 diesel the fuel enrichment and boost are tied together. A new fuel filter fixed the problem.

Cool car, cleanest one I've seen in a while. Random, but some guy tried to tell me there is a police car pcm for these cars that adds like eleventy billion HP and pulls the speed limiter off. I've never seen an SHO cop car except in Robocop. Any truth to this? He was calling out my Supercharged Fiero but as soon as I took his challenge he had something else to do... convenient lol.

Top Gear drove the VXR last season, looks awesome. I saw the Regal GS at detroit, not as good as the VXR but I still liked it.

Did we decide it is a 996 or 997? I "raced" a white 997 on Riverside Drive in the fall in the Fiero. He heard my exhaust which is faster than my car and wanted to play, obviously I was losing by quite a bit but he'd back off and let me come back for more. Awesome cars.
