Thanks for the input so far. I do use my Iphone for navigation, but I find it terrible compared to the droid. It's really my only complaint about the phone. That being said I want to use the in dash for more than just navigation. The stock 6 disc changed is worn out and I want something new. pdqgp - Thank you for the offer, but I doubt I will be buying anything that new. I am trying to stick around the $400-$600 dollar range. Sturg - I am sorry you could not comprehend my jumbled thoughts, though you seem to be the only one with that problem. Aftermarket stuff is so cheap it scares me, seems like it's the way to go though.

Just picked up a 2005 F150 King Ranch and want to make a few additions. I kind of want an OEM model just because it says Ford when it turns on and looks clean. I have heard they have more options/functions, but that oem model seems to have everything I would need. I also plan on putting a sub or two and replacing the stock speakers if that would affect this decision. Any advice?

If you are really in the market for one of these get a low mileage one. Not that they are bad high mileage cars, but the price difference between high and low mileage is negligible from the research I have done. That being said 12.5k for one is ridiculous for any mileage and probably not true.

I had nothing but bad luck with them for 5ish months. Never a stable internet connection and they changed EVERYTHING. TV was fine, but the layout looked like it was designed in 1995. Have Time Warner now and its 100% better - maybe $5 more a month.

Start with a short rope and pull yourself in as far as you can. The closer in you are the less you will need the rope until you get the hang of it and can use the wake alone.

I have the exact same issues. They have been here three times to 'fix' it and have replaced everything from the router to redoing the line. I'm just too busy to switch providers. And the guide to the tv looks like it was designed in 1994.
