  1. I have the magnet used for this. Tire rack sent it with my wheel package. It's pretty strong, fyi. Your average refrigerator magnet won't work but I bet a speaker magnet will.
  2. I delivered pizzas in the campus area when I was at OSU and made a crazy amount of tips, free beer, food, and uh...etc. The seedier the area...the better the tips. The Upper Arlingtion part of our area was the worst for tips and longer drive times too. I took a shift for a driver in Westerville occasionally and made my hourly rate only. Cheap, sober bastards. As a 'grown-up' with means...I tip high and often.
  3. -1 for this advice. Holy crap dude. The marina will be pure mahem this weekend. Launching a ski is soooo much faster at the Cheshire ramp. Often people will waive you ahead of them when they see you just need to drop a ski in. Go very early because by noon the wake-generated waves will beat the crap out of you. We gave up and migrated to Erie last year. If you ever want to hit the big water, let me know. Our marina has transient jet docks and has a private channel that is the closest one to PIB. Plus a bar, pool, real sand beach, etc. I think I get discounts for guests on the transient docks.
  4. I read this recently and it applies here... "parents need to stop worrying about what kind of world we are leaving for their kids and start worrying about what kind of kids they are leaving for our world"
  5. and they STILL look better than an Aztech, Avalanch, Ridgeline, and numerous other automotive travesties I can't recall at the moment.
  6. Mmmm. Also enjoying my crow over here. I guess that's the way it goes in sports. Sometimes the bad people win too. At the end of the day...if we didn't have villans we wouldn't have heros. So, with that bit of maturity behind me... Lebron...I hope you choke on that ring.
  7. I keep forgetting to bump this. Lazy. Make an offer. I just want to generate some cash for my other hobbies.
  8. how can you guys stand the yuk yuk chatter? I don't get it. Just like I don't understand who still watches MTV....I totally switched over to Paladia. It is what MTV was back when I was in High school.
  9. PIB, Cedar Point, R&R HOF, The Flats, Crawford Auto/Aviation Museum...
  10. Too much yapping and <bleeping> censorship on broadcast radio...XM, FTW!
  11. What mods are you planning to your invalid scooter?
  12. You know those 'help you sell' businesses that deal with FSBO real estate? We totally need the same thing for Cars, Boats, Motorcycles, etc. You shouldn't have to work through a dealer to avoid these kinds of headaches on both sides of the sale.
  13. Make sure you thoroughly research the process before you start. I put LTs on my goat and I had to loosen the steering rack and disconnect the linkage. It took me a while sort out issues with the rack being loose and steering wheel alignment. I had to replace the nut on the steering linkage because it was one of those 1-time use locking nuts. Up top it was a matter of carefully unfastening and moving specific parts out of the way...including supporting the engine and loosening the mounts so I could shove it one way or the other for each side. The LTs came with instructions but there were lots of gaps. It's like a 3-D jigsaw puzzle. In the end...the effort was worth it. Ran sweet and sound was wicked. I assume you are going to get a tune? BTW, I was working by myself and it was before I put a lift in and it took me about 4.5 hours. You gotta be patient, keep track of what you change and be prepared for lots of frustration. What tubes did you get? If They are coated you really need to take your time to keep from chipping them. Hey, I'm right up the road from you..about 10 miles north of New Albany. I haven't firmed up my weekend plans yet but PM me and maybe we can work out a time. I have a lift, hoist, air tools, etc.
  14. Ya, my reasoning for not considering NCAA football as a real minor league is all the restrictions around entering and leaving the system. To be really valuable you would need to be able to move players back and forth. This would also require direct ties to NFL teams so they can protect their resources. The players would benefit too because way too often you see a hot prospect from college end up failing right away in the NFL. Having a minor program to slide them back into for development may just help them reach their potential.
  15. This may be obvious to some people or a bit of history I am behind on...but...Why don't they have minor league teams in the NFL just like they have for MLB? I mean...shouldn't that be a hugely valuable resource for player development, fan base expansion, etc.??
  16. eh, the Japanese have been making all their cars pre-castrated for years. Ironically, my Z06 ate a couple over the weekend.
  17. I just picked up a converted saiga 12 and believe me it would scare the roughest of boyfriends.
  18. No disrespect intended here. but you know that is why money was invented, right? I imagine it went something like this....Some dude had a goat and needed berries and no one in the village with berries wanted a goat. Now Socialists like Obama or the Occupy freaks would want you to give me the .30 cal ammo and then have you wait for someone to give you the 7N1. PM me and we can make arrangements for me to pick it up. Seriously...don't get mad bro...I'm merely entertaining myself here.
  19. I could use the .30 carbine ammo. How much do you have and do you have a price in mind?
  20. This. plus...is it me or has the music format skewed softer too?
  21. Anyone go to Aspen fitness? thoughts?
  22. every all-inclusive we go to tells you not to tip and that their staff is supposed to refuse. However, we always throw a $20 at anyone we want good service from when we first get there. Bartender would be #1. Then housekeeping. Also...we take along a couple paperbacks and magazines to leave in the room for housekeeping. Someone gave me that tip years ago. The housekeepers love getting that stuff. Of course we go to Jamaica. Not sure that would be the same elsewhere.
  23. I always buy Stihl gear. My line trimmer is a FS90R. It's a beast.
