  1. Thems some high standards dude. I say hot, hot and hot. I don't see the 10-15 pounds unless it's in the bewbs which is cool by me. She can come hide out at my place anytime. We'll treat her real nice. :fuckyeah:
  2. Wait, wait. Don't rush to judgement. Hey Justin...proof pics?
  3. I tried to rent from uhaul a few years ago for a car I bought in DC. I made a reservation like a month in advance. They charged my card but then couldn't produce a trailer in DC, Baltimore or anywhere on the way there from here. I ended up buying a trailer near where the car was. It's nice to have and I have room to store it so, wasn't too bad in the end. They refunded me eventually.
  4. Here is a link to the pics... I forgot to mention that I have the stock wheels with Nitto 555s on them and TPMS intact. The front rubber has about 10-20% left....the rears are almost to the wear strip. But since none of the tires are run flats...this makes a good spare set for emergencies. http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6011/5933308005_3b05afbc08.jpg 20080101_000000_017 by harmonda, on Flickr http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6002/5933315351_1dcd8e533b.jpg 20080101_000000_007 by harmonda, on Flickr http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6009/5933328493_a145393619.jpg 20080101_000000_015 by harmonda, on Flickr http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6001/5933317925_537192b4f0.jpg 20080101_000000_013 by harmonda, on Flickr http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6144/5933303185_6f444a1160.jpg 20080101_000000_002 by harmonda, on Flickr http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6138/5933320425_4cdd998a0a.jpg 20080101_000000_025 by harmonda, on Flickr http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6002/5933860958_4023ab0460.jpg 20080101_000000_032 by harmonda, on Flickr http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6128/5933873552_4194c713e5.jpg 20080101_000000_005 by harmonda, on Flickr

    FS: 1999 C5

I have come to the heart-wrenching decision to sell my 1999 C5. I just have too many toys and we haven't been driving it enough. It has approx. 56k miles. It is white with firethorn red interior. It is an automatic and is pretty much stock. I put the GM performance brake kit on it...slotted and drilled rotors and ceramic pads on all four corners. I have new front pads that go with it. I think it will need those in the next thousand miles or so depending on how you drive. My wife likes to brake late so she goes through front pads pretty fast. I just put new wheels and tires on it. 18" chrome C6 wheels and Continental Extreme Contact DWS's. Great tires for driving this car well into the fall/winter season. Tires only have about 100 miles on them so far. Options I can think of are 10 disc CD changer, electric memory seats, HUD, side trim. I added new custom C5 logo'd footwell and cargo carpets last year. The exterior has the usual chips and other wear but doesn't look like a 12 year old car. We've owned it since about 2002. I just changed the oil about 200 miles ago. It has only had Mobil 1. Removable tinted targa top has the typical hazing you see on this vintage of C5 and I've contemplated having it redone. It's not too expensive but I just never got around to it. This car has been my wife's DD off and on. It is ready to do that duty for the buyer immediately. Asking $22k. I am posting this from work...I'll post pics when I get home.
  6. Ditto....unless she was into her too. Casey is hot.
  7. Ok, I'll fess-up...my tattoos hurt far worse than I expected before I got my first one. I'm Irish and I've read that we have relatively low pain tolerance...especially when it comes to skin pain. Whatever...if it wasn't voluntary...like if it was some kind of torture...no way would I have taken it. I would have talked. Seriously. There were times when I would look down to see if chunks of flesh were being carved off. I was completely surprised not to see gore.
  8. Game is crap. The problems have nothing to do with what platform you are on. It doesn't "crash" on my 360. Actually nothing "crashes" on my 360 or my PS3. It is just very poor quality. Too bad too, it is a good franchise. Hope no one was actually working on it the whole 10 years. They will have to explain that hole in their resume. I am confident they won't want to take credit for this junk.
  9. Clunky play, slow load times, last-gen graphics... all are very dissapointing. But it is uniquely irreverent. So, there's that. But if that is the peg you want to hang your hat on...why not take it all the way and lose the censorship entirely? I got the walmart bundle with the trucker hat...lame. My buddy got the balls of steel edition and the extras with that are also very lame.
  10. I ruptured my gall bladder a couple days before xmas last year. Doctor told me it is the only thing on the same pain scale as child birth. It took a morphine IV to dull it enough that I was fully aware of my surroundings. The pain was so bad they had to give me something to keep me from vomittng anything I tried to swallow...including water. If you have any gall bladder symptoms I would advise you to have it out ASAP and not wait like I did.
  11. If you don't mind the question...what app are you using for your post-processing?
  12. +1 on the panasports. Although...gotta admit this...your car is delightfully stock as it sits. Beauty of a Miata is that it is soooo much cheap fun left as it was right off the showroom floor. If it was one of the more common colors I'd agree with mods. But if I had that one I'd leave it stock looking at least.
  13. Not rice but why people want to put retro styling on a c5 is beyond me.....and why do that to a Z?
  14. Escrow isn't appropriate for this sort of thing. What is appropriate if you have already inspected the merchandise is for the seller to require a non-refundable deposit equalling the cost of his travel so he doesn't lose on the deal if you don't show. I would use Paypal to send the deposit to him so it is all tracked. An alternate but slower method would be a money order or cashier's check depending on the dollar amount. Your wife will get either for free since she is an employee. For all the conspiracy theorists here...if this transaction is above $10k the buyer and seller will both be thoroughly reviewed by any and all fincancial institutions used in the transaction. The biggest red flag would be if the deposit or any other method of splitting up the payment would break it into all sub-10k chunks. That tells you immediately that the seller is trying to avoid scrutiny. Please, please don't even give him a deposit without a title inspection. Ohio is one of the worst states to live in for fixing title problems. I've even had a title attorney recommend I move out of state to fix an issue before. Seriously.
  15. Why? Skip it. Let the buyer decide if they want to disfigure their ride. Btw...saw a sweet first gen SRX yesterday in Hudson with sick HRE wheels and lowered. Drool. A little stance alteration really makes that car.
  16. Holy hell. Yesterday I drove from cbus to chautauqua,ny. There is a serious camper problem and it is worse in Pa than anywhere else. It is almost always some old dude in some old american beater. Crown vic, caddy, etc. You have to dust them or risk following them below the speed limit through the next construction zone. And that is most of Pa right now. Flame off.
  17. How about we promise an onslaught of 10's in exchange for pics just outside your comfort zone? Tease your way to a 10 girly-girl.
  18. You don't want to hear this but...usually the foam starts holding water because the cover is letting more moisture in than the vents can deal with. When you have that happen it is time for a whole new cover. Go out to ebay and hit up one of the many cheap sources for covers. Get the thickest one in your price range to save on electricity if you use it year round. I'd also get the longest skirt possible to protect your tub.

    Ammo

is that $25 for all that .30? if so...dibs. My M1 thanks you. I'm in Sbury too.
  20. I got an LCR for my wife as a bedside table gun but I like it so much I carry it around the house and property. It is light, very ergonomic, sweet trigger pull and pretty cheap too. Not sure how much the night sight would really help with aim in a break-in situation with your adrenaline flowing...but it sure makes it easy to see and grab in a dark room.
  21. If you are interested in a scooter crew maybe you should see if they have one on http://www.dlist.com ?
  22. I've had DTV for about 12 years. I very, very rarely lose signal. I had the dish installed and then after they left I went up and put a bunch of set screws in all the braces to stabilize it. If you do that...it stays rock solid. DTV seems to be a step ahead in HD and 3-D content compared to cable or dish. I have the whole house setup which uses ethernet over coax to piggyback programming and recorded content onto the regular signal. It works better than I expected. I pay about $200/mo but I have everything they offer. All premium movie channels, playboy, sports, HD pack, 3D, whole house, etc... Only thing not turned on is PPV and private business reserved channels. They have 4 3D channels so far. One is PPV, one is just previews. We only have one 3D tv so, that is ok for now. The 3D PPV channel has pretty much shown every movie available in 3D at some point since we got it. So, not sure there is a need for more channels yet.
