  1. Ya, I've seen worse and the shame is some of them looked like the owner spent a lot of money and time making them look that way.
  2. I thought there was a place down off trabue or Roberts rd. that was one of those store and sell outfits and they had maintenance stalls for rent. May have been quite a while ago though.
  3. I can't remember from when I did mine...is the midpipe threaded or isn't it just a smooth hole on one and a slotted hole on the other part? In either case you should be able to measyure it and just get bolts that fit THROUGH the opening. It's the length that matters. (insert old joke). Honestly...if I was in your situation I'd weld it up and lose the flange. That damn thing was what hit first on my goat on speed bumps, ramps and even my lift's crossbar. It's way oversized because they didn't have an easy hanger spot right there in the middle. I swore I was going to pull the whole system and weld it all up but I ended up getting rid of it before it came to that. I had SLP LTs, x pipe and loudmouths. All the joints leaked slightly and the resonator joints creeped no matter how tight I torqued them.
  4. any of us who have spent real time under these cars knows that goat is scrap metal and the few hard-to-get parts they can salvage and sell to owners who don't want to wait for shipments from Australia for things like glass, interior parts, etc.
  5. If you check eBay you can find glow-in-the-dark paint in a jar for use with a toothpick to do the same thing. Although new sights aren't really that expensive either. I just had new Novak's put on my 1911...they have white circles for day and Trijicon dots for low-light... http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5012/5546514211_4de6480c09.jpg 1911 3 by harmonda, on Flickr
  6. Ohh...I also had a Tegu very briefly...he had outgrown the cage at the store and I felt sorry for him. Once I got it home I realized why it basically grew old at the store...they can be mean if you don't get them young AND a Tegu has a serious bite. Does even more damage than a monitor which caused myself and a roomate to have to get stitches on a couple occasions. I ended up taking him back to the store.
  7. I had a lot of lizards back in college. My fav was a golden skink. I had a savanna monitor too but that is too big for your application. I had basilisks "Jesus lizards" and they were evil. I still have scars from them. My wife had (oh this isn't going to end well I just realized) fiddler crabs in her dorm. They had the most awesome fights. Anything they lost grew back but she thought it was gross. I thought they were totally entertaining.
  8. Anytime I've added or changed something that resulted in needing an alignment...I've broken out the tape measure and got as close as I can and then took it to a pro to be computer aligned. Back in the day...I watched my dad align show cars, dragsters, circle trackers and his DDs with these gauge thingies attached to the wheels. Not sure if he used string, level, plumb line, or what else. So...my question...is the manual method just plain out now with lasers and computers or can you still do a DIY alignment on a modern car. For reference if it matters...let's use 3 examples...all modern...a C5/C6 corvette, a full-size american 4x4 pick-up and a german AWD SUV. Here is an example of a kit I saw on eBay also for reference... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320677829615&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT
  9. I had a goat. Lots of car for the money and fun to mod. Not sure there is more driver room than in a C5 though. Those cushy seats in the GTO make the interior seem small to me. But I'm not 6'6".

Holy crap I completely disagree with the OP. I just saw it with my wife. We both loved it. Heels, mini-skirt, school-girl ninjas?? YES. Also, it's a really engaging story. Girl-power, self reliance, layers of realities. The attention to detail and style was really interesting. Best thing I've seen in a long time.
  11. Huge Mclaren fan here. I've been to couple races. Can't wait. G

    Anime

Screw that...what has the best vampire schoolgirl lesbo content?
  14. No idea on pay except that they have been poaching good people from other local companies so...it must be competitive.
  15. My wrist piece is a tattoo. But I'm a kinda crazy hold-over from the 80's with an odd Swatch collection including some automatics and a skeleton. I can throw some pics up if anyone is into Swatch. My dream watch is a BRM...any BRM. If I was pickin' it would be the R50.
  16. Anyone play Homefront online yet? I'm about prestige'd as far as I want to be in Black Ops and need my next fix. I suck but I enjoy online play. I think I'm getting too old to be any good. Seriously. I never played the campaign on either BO or MW2....just online.
  17. Hey...buddy of mine is looking for an experienced VMWare/Exchange person at a relatively new start-up WAN provider. Really would like to find someone out-of-work because this place is still gaining momentum and you don't want to leave secure employment for this. Start-ups are always risky. PM me with contact info/resume and I will forward it on. No promises.
  18. I am interested but worried about moving it. You say 2 people could move it? On my end...I think my pickup tailgate and the door to the room I would put it in are about level. Where is it on your end?
  19. M1 for the benz and vettes. Whatever advance has on sale for the f250. Waverunners require f'n expensive yamalube.

Living the COD lifestyle. Cool man.
  21. Nice gun. I have a similar model. Just had trijicon novak style sights installed @ base. Check 'em out.
  22. I may be too old to get this...is it code for something? Sounds kinky.
  23. Holy mother of god...agree with all this right up until I saw THAT flag on my beloved American sports car. Every single other thing is sweet.
  24. Hot look. Agree on the comments about the interior. They make some unique parts but overall that is too much money for what you get. Hey, do you have pricing on the LS7 eForce kit and tune yet? Been curious about that versus a twin turbo setup. Power/drivability/price-wise.
