The loan I got to pay off matco is using the crv as collateral, it has a rebuilt salvage title. But that's also a $1900 loan. Not 7grand. Not sure if the amount difference changes things. We went through True Core, a credit union out here, paying 9.9% interest.

Like I mentioned before, I don't want to race anything. I just want something that is fun to drive.
-
It was more for a reference of available low mileage in my price range.
-
But if it checks out good, would it be ok? Seems like a good deal. But also seems too good to be true.
-
Also someone mentioned buying new. I just toyed around with the build a car thing on the dodge website. I built a dart, manual because the auto sucks. It came to 20,495. I can lease for 302/month or buy for 256. Other than the obvious lower payment, what's the benefits of either? For the lease I chose 48 months and 15k miles per year.

http://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/5234794791.html Ok not sure why the link doesn't work on my phone. But it's a 2008 srt4 caliber with 4500 miles. But has been wrecked and everything replaced. They're asking 8500. It's in grove city and it's a black one if anyone wants to look it up.
-
It was a 96 and yes they do
-
The srt 4 is rated in the low to mid 20mpg. And as for the premium fuel, my maxima took that and someone on here told me it's really not that much more. Money isn't tight anymore, not like before anyway.
-
I don't see what the issue with calibers are. I've driven the srt4 one here at work a couple times and it's pretty decent. A tad bumpy sometimes. And my legs are an awkward length, I need the seat to be farther forward to push the clutch all the way and wish It had an electric seat so I can move it back just a hair. I want to get away from the big cars. They ride nice, but are horrible on fuel. I've found a couple srt4 neon with less than 60k for close to 9 grand. Which we could do that price, but only if the mileage is that low.

She graduated in may. She now has a job at a the local hospital working in the CCU on overnights. The Lincoln needs a heater core that apparently takes 8 hrs according to AllData. So it fogs up the windshield and puts a fog in the car. Also the fuel mileage is hurting even though I don't drive very far.

I'm looking to replace the Lincoln come tax time. Going to get a loan and use half of the tax return as down payment. I'm looking for something 4 door and still fun to drive. Price cap is 7 grand, maybe a little more if the deal is right. The cars I'm looking into are, in order, srt4 neon/caliber- depends on how a rear facing car seat will fit caliber seems bigger than the neon. Subaru impreza- hopefully an sti if possible. Sentra spec v- they seem to be cheaper but higher miles. Just wanted any input on which is better than the other. I'm not looking to go crazy with it or do any racing. If anything I will add some sort of stereo setup and cosmetic pieces. Just want a fun yet practical car.

10/15ish feet.. The one I have is darker green.

I have one of those wacky wavy arm guys that I'm trying to get rid of. CR price is 300. On CL for 400. Works fine, just used it a couple weeks ago for the daughters birthday party. Has a 2 speed blower. The fan itself is 500 new, and could be used by itself in a garage. The arm guy has no rips or tears, just frayed"fingers". I have a few pictures I can email/text. Don't need it anymore. And no I didn't waste a bunch of money on it. I helped clean out a storage shed and it was given to me in trade for my time.

I have a X-mod I got for Christmas when they came out. Started with the camaro body and bought the supra body with bodykit. It's fun but prices for parts range quite a bit online. The suspension is a little weak and I would suggest upgrading them if you go that route. But you can buy whole car kits on ebay for anywhere between 50 and 300.

Why is everyone going the squint style headlights? A lot of the new Chrysler cars are that way, and now these. I don't like the look of them on the new Cherokees.

We're eligible for upgrades through Verizon. I have the Note 2 and love it. The battery is just starting to not keep a charge long, and the one tiny speaker in the back sucks. Other than that it's a great phone. I'm looking into the Droid turbo and the HTC one. The htc has dual front speakers and the turbo comes in a carbon fiber look. Anyone have suggestions or have either phone?

Looks like I'm going to have to replace the one in the wifes car. It has the "gm wiggle" problem. But sometimes you have to try for almost 5 minutes before it finally works. Anyone have any experience changing these? Anything I need to know or helpful tips? I just don't want her to not be able to make it to work.

Wasn't planning on involving the kids in d&d, due to the fact a friend tried to explain some of it to me and it went over my head. I'm a hands on learner, so sitting in on a game or buying a cheap starter set would probably work best. The wife and I were looking for something fun we could do together that wasn't just sit and watch a tv series. We just finished SOA, and started on Game of Thrones.

Aren't they the same? Attacking the pawns to take out the leader.
-
We bought a uno farm animal game- match the color or animal- and they both love it. The two year old won the first round haha.
-
2 sweet.. I put it here out of habit and because I didn't know how well the D and D would go over. The kids are almost 6 and 2(be 3 in Feb.), we have chutes and ladders, candy land, guess who, sneaky snacky squirrel, this rabid game that you pull carrots and he jumps off the stand randomly, monopoly jr, things like that. We looked at the Settlers of Catan game but didn't know if the the 6 yo could handle that.
-
Everyone who has younger kids what do you play? We're looking to add another game or two to our pile and are having difficulty finding a suitable one. Our oldest will be 6 next month and the games in her age range see too simple. She can't read big words yet just her sight words for kindergarten. Also anyone play D and D? Never got into it in school but it sounds interesting and the wife and I would like to try it. Found a starter kit for $30.

I need an outside opinion. On our first trip to Disney, we went and visited a friend of hers in the Vero Beach area. While down there we looked at some of the houses(drove by and looked online-didn't go in), and we loved the area down there. I like the Spanish style houses with the yellow stucco and clay roof. Well we kicked around the idea of actually moving down there and its still a maybe possible thing. There are a few things holding us back. Number one is family. Her mom would be moving with us to help watch the kids while we work, so we don't have to trust someone from an area we don't know with our kids. But my folks would be staying up here, dad owns his business, and he is about 5 years from retirement, and mom just got her teaching license. Dad says he wouldn't be able to come visit, which means he doesn't want to-hates flying and doesn't want to drive long distances anymore. Next issue would be our jobs that we just got. When I was at sears it was easy for me to say yeah sure lets go, I could always transfer to another sears if it had an opening. I didn't like it there anyway and was going no where. Now I have a job with awesome management that is trusting enough to let me get hands on training by just doing the job with a higher up techs supervision. The wife just got her job and could potentially make 28/hr after the differentials if she works weekends. Were both worried that if we were to move we wouldn't find jobs that good down there. What was drawing us down there was the idea of being able to do more things than we can up here due to climate. We looked at it as if we have a weekend off or even just one of the weekend days off we could go to a disney park, a beach, sea world ect. There are lots more opportunities down there than what we have up here. Also the car scene is better down there where you can actually drive a fun car more than just a couple months a year. I would like to eventually toy around with cars, as in buy a beat up thing and make it better and sell it, nothing to make a living on just something fun that one car would be the funds for the next. I don't know. Any moving we do wouldn't be for a couple years. This is just hypothetical what ifs. I personally hate winter after about a week of snow. I used to love it as a kid, but now its just annoying. We started looking at houses around where both our parents are now and found a nice one for 137k, and after punching numbers into a loan calculator it said less than 600/month. Which doesn't seem bad. Really just looking for outside unbiased opinions either way. Thanks and sorry so long. TL/DR- opinion on moving out of state in 5+ years after getting nice jobs and causing possible family issues.

Our next goal is to get our bills and credit cards caught up. Then we're going to start saving and planning to buy a house. As far as frivolous items we may look into a ps4. The wife wants to co-op the new star wars game haha.
