  1. how big of tires? im not sure on price but we do that. there is a sears at eastland or come see us in heath.
  2. here is my beard. I let it grow out during the winter and then shorten it in spring. Had to trim it here recently when work said it was "getting in the way of me moving up". longer thought I would try something different for a little bit, short sides and longer middle. and short after they told me to trim it. oh and the baby's beard
  3. Mustangs are the domestic version of a civic. They are everywhere, and most of them have loud annoying exhausts. I need a 4 door car, and I want one that I can also toy around with a little. I also like the sound of the Subaru boxer engine. So when I am able afford one I will be looking for that particular body style. The reason for this thread was to see what else was involved in importing a car, to see if that was a viable option that's it.
  4. The Lincoln is awesome. .. minus the parking thing. That sucks sometimes.
  5. I was planning to do the rsti swap. Just have been unable to find an rs to begin with. I was just curious how hard it was to import a car. Now i know. And my grill was $25 thank you..... (said sarcastically)
  6. Now are you saying the car itself isn't a good dd or getting an imported rhd car is bad? Because I really like the car.
  7. Maxima is long gone. Sold it a month or so ago.
  8. Yeah I didn't realize how much the fees were. Not worth paying more in fees than I would for the car. Plus that much travel would make me nervous.
  9. I wasn't planning on getting something crazy like a skyline, yet :gabe:. I just saw that someone bought one through this company. What other fees would there be? Like will it need inspected or is that part of the port fee? I don't want to spend the same amount in fees as I did for the car. I just wasn't having any luck finding anything local or in ohio for that matter..
  10. I was..... what's wrong with this plan?
  11. I like the smell of coffee but can't stand the taste, and sugar and flavoring doesn't help it.
  12. That is what I was wanting to find out with this thread, thank you. I was reading their FAQ section and it didn't help much.
  13. that is pretty awesome, there is one that drives around the mall sometimes, also an impala ss that sounds amazing.
  14. just wanted to see what price range these cars are running. we are going to allow up to 5 grand, maybe a little more if the deal is really good. I would like to stay below 4 if possible.
  15. Just wanted update this. I've been at Sears for just over a year now and when I started I weighed 260ish pounds. Unfortunately I haven't taken Mojo up on his offer, yet, but I plan to. We are cleaning out our junk/storage room and making it a compact exercise room for both of us. But after cutting back on pop, thanks to the mio suggestions, and not eating as much along with the daily exercise of lifting tires and just general physical labor at work I am now down to fluctuating between 205 to 210. I now have some arm muscles! The lowest I did get to over the summer was 200.6 pounds. I just want to thank all of you for the help and suggestions. Now to work on the under belly flab and manboobs some more. I do still drink pop but not nearly as much as I used to, and caffeine is managed using the mio energy for the first mug of water for the day. I can now make a 2 liter last about 3 to 4 days instead of 2 hours.
  16. First off I started this here because I know it will end up here... But I was lurking on NASIOC, I joined there to read and learn more about Subaru's, and I noticed someone bought a car from Japan and had it imported. My question is how hard is it to do this and what extra costs this would involve? I have been looking for a 96-2000/2001 gc8 body style impreza. Haven't had any luck the past couple years, that were in my price range anyway. The plan is after the wife graduates and gets a job we are going to look for one and give the lincoln to her mom because they're car is about to fall apart and they aren't able to afford to fix it. With them watching our kids sometimes we want them to have a safe car. Anyway, I went to the link the guy provided and was just looking and found this car among a few others http://www.goo-net-exchange.com/usedcars/SUBARU/IMPREZA/700115714820130704001/index.html Other than having to learn RHD, what complications could I run into?
  17. whats the benefit of the fins if they're past the engine area?
  18. sent the link to Josh a few days ago. Asked if that was his next step from wagons.
  19. I want to thank all of you for the information. We will be looking at all options and definitely look into the home security systems. Mojoe, a major thanks for offering your services for free. when we decide what were doing we will for sure get ahold of you. Which will be after she graduates, in spring, as our schedules are full and when shes home I'm at work and vice-versa. For now we will hope for the best as was pointed out our financial situation. Which is very true and I'm not upset at anyone. This thread was mainly to get info for us to process. The police station is technically 4 streets away I believe.
  20. Thanks for the info. I'm sure/hoping that if it came down to it I could shoot to kill. But that being said, I couldn't kill a rabbit that was 5 feet from me the one and only time I went hunting, and I was 15... I can kill mice and small annoying birds but that's about it.
  21. honestly i have no idea what they run, so I don't know where to start.
  22. Ok. Three of the houses around us have been broken into within the last couple months. The wife was thinking we should get something so we can protect ourselves if something were to happen. What are some good ideal guns? I don't want anything crazy like an AR or anything like that, just something that both she and I can use. Of course we will be getting professional training before we buy anything. A guy at work said a shotgun, but I was thinking something less messy/ deadly if that makes sense. I really would rather not kill someone unless ultimately necessary obviously. I've never shot a handgun, my dad has all rifles/shotguns and a muzzle loader. The only gun we have in the house is a bb air rifle and a bb pistol that looks like a real hand gun but is so old its seized up where it opens for the co2 cartridge. And again we would be getting training before we do anything.
