  1. Well the wife finally narrowed down her car search to a less than 5 year old Forester or Outback, we want to find a certified pre-owned. She was thinking about looking come spring-ish time after tax returns. I was wondering if the sales would be better at the end of the year or wait until spring. In spring we would have a down payment available. The crv is going to her mom so she has a car. She recently got a raise at work that ends up being enough to cover a car payment up to 400, but we want lower than that. Anyone here work for a Subaru dealer that can give some input on this? Thanks in advance!
  2. Ok. That's what I was wondering. There needs to be a CR meet there sometime.
  3. After the first neck collar, I tested the velcro on others and couldn't find any that held together. That's why I grabbed a buckle version. It was mostly irritating having to keep pushing it back after each turn.
  4. The wife and I had a date night at Grand Prix Karting the other night. We had a blast, they were dead and it was just us two on the track for our last two races. Anyway I had issues with the neck device. I don't know if I'm just too "no-neck" for what they have or what. The first one I had the velcro didn't hold well and I had to keep pushing it back under my helmet. Then I grabbed one that had a buckle on it. The second one stayed on but I had trouble breathing- may just be fat issue. Also the helmet kept riding up. What should I look for for next time? Also are the basic neck protectors that they use cheap enough to buy my own if I'm not joining a league? To clarify my no-neck statement: in junior high football I had no neck. My helmet pretty much rested on my shoulder pads. Also the smallest helmet completely aired up was too big for me, I could spin the helmet around. I use the red medium helmets at GPK.
  5. how about the early 90s prelude? small lightweight car, looks to be decent for road racing.
  6. Nice. Love that color. There is a mudfest or something like that out here in the Newark area. They had Denis Anderson out there a couple years ago.
  7. How about Boss Hoggs car? A 1970 Cadillac DeVille. with or without the bull horns.
  8. went to the races on Saturday at around 330 after work. watched probably 6 cars before the rain showed up, but everything was pretty much closed up by then. Even the drift demo was done for the day at 4. Did get to sit in the tower for the first time ever. Also just started watching the show on netflix a week ago.
  9. Thanks for finding that. I have been looking for something that puts them all side by side. I personally have no idea who I'm voting for. They each have some good points and then there are things that I lean the other way on.
  10. This being America... his family will sue and win, find something about unsafe lift points for a jack.
  11. make sure it doesn't have a rwd conversion.....
  12. Why is this? I know absolutely nothing about this sort of thing, but I thought the cage was to make the car safer.
  13. Even at the go kart place they have neck protection, and you only get to maybe 45 mph I think k.
  14. Both sold. lock up please.
  15. Wish I would have seen this. We went to the Slipknot/Manson concert. It was amazing, first time seeing either of them.
  16. bully dog sold. XRT is still available
  17. Did not know that. Price changes bases on that info-- XRT-$50 Bully Dog- $100
  18. I have a H&S XRT tuner/downloader that came out of a 2010 f350 and a bully dog tuner that was in a 2009? ram 2500. The Bully dog needs the power wire end fixed, I accidentally cut it trying to remove the tape. Its the female crimp piece that was attached to the power fuse. Lost not even a foot of the wire. H&S XRT: 250 obo http://imgur.com/2LBboxP.jpg Bully Dog: 350obo Make offers on these. I have no use for them and we can't sell them with the trucks for some reason.
  19. would be a fun different drift toy with a manual swap.
  20. My dad bought me a ToolShop brand impact from Menards for christmas. I use it everyday at work taking off tires and even suspension bolts. Its an 18 volt 1/2 inch drive. He bought a combo kit which included 3 flip sockets and a flashlight that uses the same battery, as well as a carrying bag and charger.

    nice

The Lincoln I had sat out at my dads house in the grass for 7 years, when I drove it home a mouse ran up the seat, across my leg, up the door and jumped out the window. Also I hulk-smashed a mouse that ran out of our couch and across my lap one night. It ran under a blanket and I punched it 3 times, had bruised knuckles for a couple days but I got the mouse.
  22. thanks to those with useful input. haha. I filled it up this morning and have had no issues, nor has it acted up again.
