Why not find a higher end car that's 1-2 years old with 20-30k miles? New cars depreciate so fast that if you can find a well maintained trade-in, you can get a car that is fully loaded for the same price (or cheaper) as a base model of the new one.

I have an LCPII, the upgraded model of that one. It's got about 40 rounds through it and I might sell it if you're interested.

Never would have guessed that. I guess it's like a teacher- 50k+ in schooling and come out making 35k, peaking at 75-80k. They do it for the love of the kids.

Dumb statement is dumb. Can you make great money not going to college? Hell yeah, lots of my friends do. However, I wouldn't have NEARLY the life I do today without college. Not just financially, but just quality of life. I sit in a temperature controlled office all day, using my fingers and my brain to earn money. Most jobs without a degree (read: not all) that earn high dollars are physically exhausting and you can't do them for 40 years. Honestly, the $560 a month sucks balls, but it'll pay itself off over and over and over again. 80k for a Vet? No offense, but isn't that relatively low for that field?

Yep, I'm still in. I tried to sell at $294 the other day but when I went to sell it was $290 and I thought "eh I'll just wait til it hits $300". Oh well- not a big deal and I'm in it for the long haul anyway.

Just about 1.5 years after I bought a really good router/modem combo on Prime day, it took a shit and I'm in the market again. Willing to spend up to $125...I'd love to get a dual band combo, but if I have to have a separate router and modem I guess I will. Advice for the best one I can get for $125? I have 30mps internet (with WOW).

How do you schedule one where they come and look at the car?

I know this is out there somewhere but I couldn't find it with a quick search. Girlfriend has had her old vehicle sitting outside her house for 6+ months. She has a Florida title in her dads name, that he signed over to her. The vehicle does not run/move and she just wants to junk. What should she do? Does it need inspected? Help.

I've been lucky enough not to get it, but I have a 4 day meeting with 25 people starting tomorrow...all locked in a room together for 10 hours each day. Guaranteed I'll get something from it.

Oh yeah man, I started this car at 15 in 2005- the height of the river times (maybe a year or 2 after). Bought it as an automatic and converted it to a manual and everything. The car was stupid fast. But let’s be real- no escort was built for that power no matter how much I put into it. It couldn’t handle the power for any more than 2-3k miles at a time

Crikey....found my old car domain too. This was by far my favorite car. Highest the car ever got to was 322whp/296wtq. Fun as hell but went through transmissions like it was going out of style.
