How long do tickets/accident stay on your record for? I thought it was 2 years, but my insurance company is telling me 3 years. Is that normal for insurance companies?

A friend of mine went through same thing. If you can get a lawyer, but if it is clear cut you might be ok. They will do a hearing over the phone. There lawyer and the arbitrator will ask you questions etc. If they rule against you will owe the money. Although, they dont have a way of getting the money back from you. The next time you filled another claim they would deduct it from that or take it from your taxes.

Yes info is correct info so far. Dealing with OSP is a pain in the ass. It takes a few weeks to get an appointment for an inspection. You have have to the numbers off the salvage title before they will give you an appointment too. So you can get an appointment then switch the title etc. You are allowed to drive it to other counties besides Franklin County for an inspection, but beware there normally a 100 miles or more away. Oh the funniest thing is that they dont check for safety just stolen parts so duct tape is ok I guess lol.

Be careful some of these places charge you twenty bucks extra then the regular BMV(owned by state)
