  1. Fuck it, file the claim. Even if for no other reason than to inconvenience them, just as they did you.
  2. We also used him as an adoption lawyer (at your refrence as a matter of fact, thank you). He was very good for us and made the process as easy as possible.
  3. I don't have any real advise, but I do wish you luck. It would be extremely tough to have your children used against you in a situation like this (for them too), they don't deserve to be put in the middle or used as leverage.
  4. Cool truck, now what fun car do you have in mind now?
  5. Yeah, you are screwed. You would likely end up spending more money on a lawyer and taking them to court than you would spend to just fix it, not worth it imo. Also, I agree with Steve. If you would have called to file a report they likely would have admitted it to the police too, or the police could have seen how the cars were sitting and figured it out. Either way, their insurance would have been paying.
  6. Did everyone miss where op said he needed a truck for hauling things for his rentals while y'all were busy losing your minds? Seems to me like he would get a decently comfortable truck that he can daily and something fun to drive in between. Also, we will see this again in less than a year.
  7. He won't have it long enough for it to rust.
  8. Just curious, would the officer and the pilot both have to appear in court? I know in ohio that if the officer that cited you doesn't show uo to court it can be thrown out, but since the officer that wrote the ticket would be your accuser, so wouldn't the pilot, correct?
  9. Assuming you are talking about the compressor on your car, it should be rebuildable.
  10. It needs to be vacuumed down then to get the moisture out of the system. You can get a cheap vacuum pump from horrible freight and vac it down then use the cans to top it off. Idk where the oil is held in those systems, you may need to properly top the oil off to (if it was not in the compressor then there should be nothing to worry about).
  11. Punch it out and put bigger slugs in it. Good time to upgrade.
  12. I just ordered a set of hankook tires for my car a couple weeks ago, they are running a special right now for $100 mail in rebate on certain tires.
  13. I took the test 8 years ago. I took the test for my temps and setup the license test the same day. Took the test 2 weeks later at the bmv on my own bike. I was never required to take the safety course.
  14. I have always hated the classics on the old k5 frames.
  15. You posted their phone number. Not sure if accident or if CR should call them at all times of the night.
  16. The Anderson's meet has pretty much died out I believe. From what I have seen on Facebook groups, there aren't really any local meets that I am interested in going to these days. I will probably start attending CC&C once I can get my car on the road.
  17. I know carbs have been mounted atop blowers for a long time, in fact the blower helps with fuel atomization, I just don't know how different it would be for 8 fuel injectors sitting up there. I'm sure it would work just fine, I just don't know how it works or if there is a better setup. Steve, I'm not totally sure why he wants to go fuel injection, I didn't ask. He has had this setup for a long time and I think he is just looking for a way to change things up a little and improve drivability.
  18. A buddy of mine had a 1st gen Camaro with a 502 and a blower. He is thinking about going fuel injection and is looking at a kit from a place called Joe Blo speed shop, the kit puts 8 injectors in a plate above the blower. It seems to me that putting the injectors above the blower could make it hard to tune, but idk much about supercharged setups as I have never owned or worked on one. Would that be a decent setup? Any suggestions for a better route to go? Fwiw, it is a 8-71 blower.
  19. I just took the time to look at the ad (it was loading slow before and I was in a hurry), this is a beautiful car. I drove one that was sbc swapped and it was quick, yet comfortable.
  20. Please start a thread with deetz if it's for you.
  21. And the frame is a 62 vette while the body is a 54.
  22. I think I remember him telling me a story once about how he almost bought one.
