  1. Meh, just trying to be funny. Seriously, if you want to avoid these people (I would) don't gonto the brice road meets.
  2. Hell, the kids have been doing car meets all winter, where have you been?
  3. If I can get my junk running this year (it's only been a project for 6 years now) I'll drag it out to see what it can do.
  4. If you are talking about Aj he is not banned anymore, he just lurks on the rare occasion he gets on here.
  5. Joe Koban works at a machine shop somewhere off westerville road, I can't remember the name currently (Performance Research maybe?), anywho I hear nothing but good things about them. I used m&m for my machine work, while it took them a while (I had an odd request, but it shouldn't have taken that long) the work was good.
  6. Sounds like this will sell quick. I might be interested in looking at it if Lauren decides not to buy it.
  7. Weld a nut to it. It will heat it and give you something to get on that isn't stripped.
  8. Why 4 turbos? I'm guessing why not. Cool project though, any plans to see how much boost you can run?
  9. Seems to me like the condoms are working, one way or another.
  10. Another vote for Redwings here. I have been wearing them for the last 7-8 years now. They wear well (I've gotten up to 2 years out of a pair and just replaced them so I wouldn't lose my safety allowance) and they are comfortable for the time I wear them at work (usually 50-60 hours a week).
  11. For 5k you can pick up a cheap fc rx7 shell and drop almost any motor in it that you want.
  12. In for info, my wife and I have talked about the same thing a few times.
  13. Just run the exhaust over the car to the back (kinda like an exo-skeleton), problem solved lol. Seriously though, why not do like Clay said and just use some turn downs to point it down/towards the rear of the car?
  14. I guess that Tesla just became the fastest production car, ever...
  15. Solar panels will take a few years to hit payoff and I hear it is a hassle to sell the extra energy back to the power company. Geothermal is a good route to go to save on heating and cooling costs, but also takes a couple years to hit payoff. Making sure everything is well insulated would be a good start, the windows you are waiting to replace you could get the window kits where they get covered in plastic (might be unsightly, but will help with energy costs).
  16. Lift would be first on the list. Electric impacts (Milwaukee impacts are tits), a press, big air compressor, media blaster (would be nice to have around), welder, all the basic hand tools you would need. Specality tools can be purchased as needed cause you never know what all you will need for specialty tools.
  17. The idea is nifty, but there are a bunch more moving parts now, which means more parts that can fail. I have a feeling it will gain a reputation much like the rotary engine.
  18. Not sure if racist or not...
  19. If I get my car running this year I'd probably bring it out to see what it can do. That's a big if though because I'm looking into buying a house.
  20. It went about as well as I hoped it would.
  21. 1. Buy van. 2. Pick up random chicks on the street. 3. Make porn with said chicks to sell in the interwebs. 4.???? 5. Profit.
