  1. So, the "new" 2015 vehicles being sold, do they still get the same factory warranty? I would be worried about seals and tires and such drying out from sitting then possibly failing.
  2. I will probably do it this weekend, I just have not had the time or a second person to help.
  3. I figured I would bump this one more time. The craigslist links have changed, I will post a new link later when I make another post. Some details. No ac, the power steering needs the high pressure hose and all the parts installed. I finally got it running pretty good, but since it has a 2g mas and 550cc injectors, it should have a safc and a wideband installed to get it "tuned" properly. It has a big fmic, a 2g mas and 550cc injectors that were previously mentioned, emissions delete, new head gasket and all other gaskets involved with that, new timing set, new fuel pump (comes with aftermarket aeromotive unit, but it is too much for the factory fpr to regulate).
  4. ^ All the copper in that interior, I hope it was finished with a good clear coat. I really like the design and color of it, it just seems like it would be a pain to keep polished up.
  5. I took my wifes car up to Ateam to have it looked at on friday (it is shifting hard into 3rd when up to temp), they still have the car and I still have not gotten a call. Going to pick it up tonight weather they have had time to diagnose it or not.
  6. These old turbo caravans are pretty cool sleepers. Is this one 5 speed?
  7. Isn't the b4c option part of the police package? I think what he meant by the stuff to tune it would be a way to burn eprom chips. Are you able to data log an eprom ecu?
  8. Here's the link (so you don't have to search for it above). https://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/6012552299.html
  9. Honestly, I don't want to put the money into it. As much as I have in this car already I'm not really making anything on it at this price, I'm just trying to sell it to fund my other car.
  10. Bump, has 550cc injectors now (to compensate for the 2g maf) and runs well.
  11. So, here is a thought (likely not feasable, but possible). If everyone were to order tires at the same time from tire rack (it would likely have to be one large order) then pick them up. The tires for my cars were able to be picked up in South Bend, IN., so if everyone chipped in for a U-haul and fuel (lunch and stuff for the driver) there would be hardly any shipping cost. Then make a day of mounting them at Lucore.
  12. I am shopping for tires currently and tire rack is not any cheaper than anywhere around town. I was thinking that if you order 2 sets that they may just discount the shipping a little ($70+ for shipping a set, LOL), but they don't. I will probably just shop around local. Edit: I am a lot like Clay, I also look for the best deal on tires that I can (for my daily). Family hauler and racecar will get better tires.
  13. I've got an 01 Durango I am looking to sell (we want something smaller and easier on gas because we have a baby on the way ), if an suv will work for you. It needs a couple things that I am going to try to fix this weekend (tccm module for the 4x4 is in the mail and I have a steering rack to put in). Looking to get 2k for it.
  14. Bump. New craigslist link as the old one is expired. https://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/6012552299.html
  15. My grandfather had one of these, a 41 Lincoln Zephyr. It is by far my favorite 40's era car, maybe I am biased though because I grew up around one. He sold it when I was 15, I really wish I could have gotten that car. It was almost identical to this one except his had push button suicide doors. http://cdn.barrett-jackson.com/staging/carlist/items/Fullsize/Cars/60554/60554_Front_3-4_Web.jpg Also, for some reason ever since I saw the movie cars, I have been a fan of the 51 Hudson Hornet. I just think it is a cool representation of the muscle at the time in a fairly sleeper package. One more I have always had a thing for, the 71 Cuda. http://www.moparponderosa.com/local/71sas.jpg
  16. According to something I read (clicked a link on the article Clay posted), they were prohibited from shipping them to another country without first being "fixed".
  17. I would go for the Volvo as well, or an A4 (pretty easy to make a little more power with the 2.0t iirc). I would stay away from the rotary for a daily, especially since it is an rx8 you are looking at. It would make a great second fun car, partially because they are high maintenance motors.
  18. Is there any shade adjustment, and if there is have you played with it?
  19. Maybe you could teach him a thing or two? You are the professional, right?
  20. Nice looking car, I had a 92 rs when I joined here (305/5 speed car, was a ton of slow fun). I also recommend a ls swap. You would be in it for less than a big block and be capable of making pretty good numbers on a stock motor. Check out http://www.car-part.com for a motor, you should be able to get one shipped pretty cheap (you may even be able to source a complete motor/trans/ecm all in one shot).
  21. Shit, I forgot you are a tool salesman now.
  22. Milwaukee hands down. I have used the 1/2 high torque impact a few times and love it. I will be getting one here soon. Look on facebook at the singing river tools page, it is run by a tool truck guy who sells tools nationwide and gives out pretty good deals. Right before christmas he had a sale for the 1/2 high torque impact, 3/8 impact, led light, 2 5.0 batteries and a charger for $569.
  23. I think the nws icon can be removed now...
