  3. try taking the power wire and putting it directly on the battery + and see if the fan even works, if the fan motor seized then it would cause a very high amp draw and cause the meltdown you experienced (not saying that was in fact the cause, just a possibility) only do it for a second or two just to see if it works. if it does the cheapest way i can think of to make it work would be to get a universal 4 pin relay from the auto parts store and an in-line fuse.. the relay should have one constant power, one ground, one acc power and the power wire for the fan, the way it should work is the acc wire works a switch inside the relay when the key is turned on to make the connection for the fan, i would put the fuse in the line going to the fan. that would be a permanent fix though
  4. I say coilovers first, then you could sell the old ones to start a fund for better brake pads, 2 pluses there, you don't have to worry about ripping your oil pan off, and coilovers can help with brakeing, at least with the weight transfer part and being able to stop harder without coilovers could be detramental to your oil pan (srsly, you need a custom pan or something, that thing is gonna get ripped off one day and shit will indeed be all bad)
  5. easy way to clean carbon buildup is to put seafoam through a vacuum line, prolly have to do it often though

  8. at least the tattoo is removable by laser, granted it would prolly still leave something behind but it would be coverable, woulda probably been much funnier if it were the "disappearing ink" that fades after 5 years, guess that would be long enough to teach a lesson and prolly not have to pay 100,000 dollars for revenge

  15. did you look to make sure there is nothing in the tranny where you push the cv joint in? if its clear make sure the spline count is the correct ammount (comparing it to the old one would prolly be the easiest way) and if everything matches then just push really hard, sometimes they are just stiff.
  16. nope.... shit talkin oompa loompa
  17. kid fails to understand that 95% of cr are the greatest keyboard warriors alive, now between gabe and phil he is talkin shit to two of who I would say are in the top ten trolls/shit talkers on cr... gonna be a long cold winter for someone :fa:

  22. i replaced a radiator in my 97 mountaineer once, its really not too bad, me and my bro got it done in about a half an hour in a parking lot, but we didnt exactly reclaim the coolant either (summertime and there was a leak so it was mostly water). anyways its a lil tight in places but all in all not too bad
  23. As far as the clutch and flywheel go, just count the splines on the input shaft, as long as you match the clutch to that you could get just about any clutch and flywheel for a small block chevy with a matching spline count (shaft size matters too though) but that's a nice thing about a sbc, most parts will fit any sbc.
  24. Generally 3 phase is used for industrial products (ie machenery, large electric motors like the ones used on pumps and stuff, industrial air compressors, etc), anything designed for the household usually doesn't require 3 phase power, so the question is what everyone else is asking, what are you tryin to get that's 3 phase.
