  4. I know this thread isn't supposed to be funny, but the responses so far made me giggle like a 12 yr old school girl. My advise though, if your only worried about hairloss then don't worry, prolly can't get much uglier. :gabe: seriously though, I would take the meds if I were you, I'd take feeling better over looks.
  5. So, its a manual trans and an auto trans. By interchangeable do they mean swapping transmissions? Also most good shops should be capable of changing and tuning an ecu imo. There are likely exceptions though.

  13. Careful with oreilly here (the one on morse rd.), they told me if you have the tool for more than 48 hours then you own it.
  14. Just because its centerbolt doesn't mean its a vortec motor, just means the heads are 86.5 or later. If the motor came out of a 92 camaro then its definitely not a vortec (provided it was the original motor for the car). The throttlebody will work but I don't remember if the injectors are different sizes or not. You will definitely need a tune though. I would seriously look for a better set of heads if you are putting a 350 in. And I would say it would be much cheaper to put a gen 1 sbc in than an lsx, hell I bought my last short block 350 for $125 (in usable shape).
  15. Everything will swap to a 350. Get a better set of heads though, most 305's (if not all) came with 1.88 intake valves, that will choke the 350 on the top end.
  16. A big difference between the 305 and 350 is the bore size. If you want to use 350 heads, you have to be careful of the valve size, the 2.02 valves will not work (some people put valve relief's in the block to make it work, doesn't seem worth it to me though). 305 compared to the 302, I would go 302 as performance parts give you more bang for the buck with the Ford compared to the chevy. Working with a 350 is a different story though.

  20. This is awesome, I definitely want to see how this turns out. Maybe in a couple years I can do this with my son lol.
