  3. Pumpkin pie from scratch, I made a couple pies and they turned out well. http://www.pickyourown.org/pumpkinpie.php
  4. It could be painted like that. I remember hearing somewhere that there is a company that created a chrome finish paint.
  5. I re-watched the video and edited my post. I originally thought he wasn't shot until the truck was stopped.
  6. Edit: I was watching the video with the sound off the first time, I did not realize that shots were fired at around 4:00. The cops did what they had to do.
  7. I have a 94 f-150 I'm trying to get rid of. Straight 6, 5 speed 2wd. It needs some work, but I'd let it go cheap.
  8. Possible bad seal in the master cylinder? Could be the reason he felt the need to bleed them in the first place.
  9. I googled it for kicks, it appears the ring that comes in the candle is worth anything from $10 to $5000. I would be willing to bet they don't give out too many rings worth more than $24.99.
  10. Stupid phone, dp. Hey, another great gift idea.
  11. Get her a card, she would appreciate the thought. I bet she would appreciate it more if you saved the money/splurged more for your child.
  12. If its the guy from sawmill its bone stock except the exhaust. He wants to airbag it, but I'm thinking its lonely to never happen (unibody). He seems like a pretty cool guy from the couple tiles I have talked to him, just seems like a dreamer.
  13. There should be a number on the block behind the passenger side head iirc (i know its on the back of the block). Just Google search the number you get and it should tell you what's in there.
  14. It looks like a great start for a driving project. I think you made a good choice.
  15. Honest question, do you consider the car "ruined" because its 2jz powered now? I only ask because it is something I see a lot in the RX7 community, a lot of people think the car is ruined when you put pistons in em.
  16. It would be the government as I don't see any way of weening every man, woman, and child off the government's tit. At least this way they would be earning it rather than just getting money for nothing, and having to pay taxes they would still (in a way I guess) be contributing to their own wages.
  17. I think the government should do what Roosevelt did in the 30's (to pull us out of a depression), anyone who wants to work, give them a job. Even if its the most bullshit job on earth, at least your earning money. For those who don't want to work, well then they don't need government assistance. I know it would be hard to employ that many people but I'm sure something can be found for them to do, like picking up trash on the side of the road or something. Make them do the jobs nobody else wants to do and maybe it will motivate them to find another job where they don't have to depend on the government to pay them. Another plus to this idea would be that everyone (who took the job) would have to pay taxes, because its work, not a handout. So, in my opinion, America needs to quit being so lazy. I understand the purpose of welfare and all (it was to help those in need to get back on their feet, not as a handout for leeches of society), but it has been abused for far too long now.
  18. I agree with what you said, people feel entitled when they shouldn't. I was referring more towards manufacturing. Where I work the average wage for the hourly people is around $20 an hour. They have been sending some of these jobs towards mexico the past few years where the hourly associates there make ~$1.50 an hour. It's all about the bottom line for ceo's and not the people making them the money. I feel lucky to have my job still, yet I don't know how long it will be before they close the doors here and move on. That's a big part of what I think is wrong with the economy.
  19. My theory on why the middle class is getting "poorer" is outsourcing. Americans are losing jobs to people in Mexico, China, Asia, ect. It's like the CEO of Emerson, David Farr said "I will not hire another person in america". That's the current issue I see with the country.
  20. Green Bastard

    Gone

Take em to a scrap yard and make some gas money.
  21. I like the green stuff pads for a dd, good street performance and I like how they don't make your wheels grimey.
  22. I saw this car in person last Saturday at sawmill. These cars look much better in person than in pictures, and the interiors are tits on these cars.
