  1. Just a plain horse and wagon on Mulberry Street
  2. I bastardized mine. It's a countertop secured to an old work bench with extra support. It's not the prettiest but it's heavy and solid.
  3. Finished up a little after 5. This class was great as expected. I know it's been said but Joe and Howard do a great job and they have a huge knowledge base. This class is good for anyone that wants to go beyond the basic CCW info and get some real world and form practice. Don't let the amount of ammo or lack of a holster deter anyone as the practice and experience is worth it. Thanks guys.
  4. I have a press and can load dummy rounds with no primer or powder for 9 and 45. Unfortunately I don't have dies for 40. If you want any just let me know and I can load them tonight.
  5. I have a few random holsters I can bring too for those who need them.
  6. I'm in! I have a couple questions I'll do in pm. Thanks Joe.
  7. I'm for the 15th but not the 29th. Let us know more details and what to bring besides ammo. Thanks guys.
  8. Bob, thanks for posting this. I have wanted to take follow up classes but it's hard to find reviews. Where did you do the range time?
  9. Some policies let you schedule up to a certain amount. Nationwide is $5k. Anything over that is not covered. Like the others said keep an excel file with a list of values and serial numbers along with photos off site. A 1000 pound safe bolted to concrete is also good insurance.
  10. Thanks again. Great to see everyone and cool shop to hang out at.
  11. Bob, There are a few places like this off Green Meadows behind the Walmart on 23. It's north of 270 but is close to you. Also there is a small property just west of the railroad tracks in downtown Powell. I know a couple people who rent spaces just like your pic. Rent is relitively cheap, you have space for several cars and a bathroom. Typical mini storage units do not and most won't let you work on cars on site. Check out Marcus and Millichap, Grub and Ellis, CBRE etc websites to see who has space for lease. If there is a certain place you find, PM me and I can look up rents for you.
  12. Jason aka wanaplay and his company Cost Plus Sevices just painted our house. They did an awesome job and I would highly recommend. The crew was was even listening to Johnny Cash while they worked which is worth bonus points.
  13. Well...nothing but rain is happening now at Crosswoods. At least the roads are already wet if anyone does burnouts. I kind of doubt it though without an audience.
  14. I heard last year the cops stayed away from Campus View and there were tons of burnouts. Can anyone confirm or deny this? I'll be there anyway on Friday so I may sit outside the Fish Market for awhile before going over to Busch.
  15. Do you have access to photos? A happy photo of the deceased in their favorite car in a nice frame would bring good memories to the family. If there is a car staying in the family or being passed down a plaque for the dash that says in memory of ... and his favorite saying to put on the dash might work. Good luck.
  16. Tim I'll be at LEPD this evening if you want to venture up this way. I'll have a G19 plus a few others you can try. Call or text if you are interested. 614-216-0567.
  17. Can't wait to see it in person. Congrats
  18. My kids brought me breakfast in bed and then we watched cartoons on the couch with one one each arm. Life is good. Happy Father's Day to all the dads.
  19. Try calling Midwest Photo on High Street. I doubt they do it but they may know who does. eBay may also be a good place to find one. Use it for what you need and re-sell it.
  20. Post some pics. My son loves my "vintage" stuff that was mine when I was a kid.
  21. My 6 year old thought that was the funniest thing ever. I laughed too.
  22. Plus one of the guys Derek works for has a 77 or 78 Trans Am. You can always trust fbody folks.
  23. That's an awesome gift! Congrats. Thanks for the answer. Maybe I'll see you on the range sometime. I'm usually the only one under 50 shooting revolvers.
  24. Honest question: why did you go with a 41 mag? I've shot a lot of 357 mag and 44 mag and am curious about the 41. Thx
  25. Fin is a great place if you don't mind the drive. I have called ahead and they will actually answer their phone and tell you what's in stock. A little farther north is Sprtsman's Den in Shelby. It's very cool and they have a reloading stuff.
