  1. We were on the handicapped range on the left if your looking down range about the same time. I just brought my ar and mosin. I had a firebird shirt on. Bummer I did not realize you were there or I would have said hi.
  2. That spot on his windshield was annoying.
  3. I went to the outdoor Delaware range on Saturday and the range officer said next year it is undergoing a 5.2 mil expansion and renovation. When done there should be 30 to 40 rifle ranges from 25 to 100 yards, better hand gun area and better clay area. They are also building a shelter house with running water and indoor plumbing for restrooms. It will also be able to be rented for classes. The range areas will be more contained with dedicated lanes that will be covered. A day pass will still be $5. Should be pretty cool come next fall.
  4. In for responses. Amazon has a bunch plus some neat looking bb traps but I would like to hear actual reviews.
  5. Jeez that sucks. I have subscriptions to a couple of those and I look forward to new mags every month.
  6. Know anyone with AAA. As long as the member calls and shows the tow driver their card, the tow truck drivers usually don't care whose car they tow. Plus if it's low to the ground or lowered you can request a flatbed.
  7. What about an armadillo helmet?
  8. Isn't that what they did in the movie Van Wilder? Only it was the bull dog with huge bulls they used for the filling.
  9. Agreed. I used to buy it for $69 a can. Aim Surplus has it too. It's a nice drive to Middletown. http://www.aimsurplus.com/product.aspx?item=A76254R
  10. Tonight I found out that soaking rusty nuts and bolts in a mixture of white vinegar and lemon juice will remove pretty much all rust, paint, coating etc. I have a bunch of big bolts and nuts from steering stuff on my firebird and didn't want to replace them. But several were very rusty and needed a lot of PB to come off. I hit them quickly with a wire brush and let them soak over night. After another scrubbing, they were down to bare metal. I didn't take a before photo but here is what they looked like before paint. It was super cheap and worked great. Hopefully this will help someone else. http://i378.photobucket.com/albums/oo225/ceharrisnanny/bolts_zpsdd570320.jpg
  11. Try Phoenix Graphics. They are not local but they make excellent kits for fire chickens.
  12. I would like to see any with my firebird in them....with or without the eye candy;)
  13. Juiced that's a nice collection. Close ups of the revolvers would be appreciated. How old and what calibers are they?
  14. That's good advice. I bought a single stage but I did so knowing it would be slow. Plus I like playing with different loads and hiding from the wife and kids in the basement. If you have someone who will go in on it with you that would reduce your set up cost significantly. If you do a lot of plinking a progressive is definitely best. If you are worried about height build your own bench and lower that section. I'm using a reenforced computer desk.
  15. If he has a progressive press and is willing, you could offer to have him load in bulk for you. I load single stage so it's slow but I load plinking ammo for about 8-9 a box. Good luck.
  16. Consider loading your own? I like Barry's 124 gr bullets. The set up is expensive but you can tailor your loads to your shooting preference and gun (s).
  17. Thanks for a fun day. It was very casual and I think everyone had a good time. Looking forward to seeing pictures....especially at the end of the show. Thanks!
  18. When we used it, we pressurized each cylinder and used it to compress the spring so we could replace the seals. This compressed the spring so we could take the rocker arm off. I'm not sure it will work but if you want to borrow it or see it let me know. It was used once a few years ago so my memory is a little foggy.
  19. Would this work? I used it when we changed the valve spring seals on my firebird. We did it with the heads on and pumped air into the motor to hold the valves up. http://i378.photobucket.com/albums/oo225/ceharrisnanny/tool_zpsd8b4a798.jpg
  20. I believe sunset orange metallic is a relatively rare color. It may be worth a little more than a typical black or blue just based on the color. GLWS it's a beautiful car.
  21. Here are a few I took, mostly burnouts. Great job to Wagner and everyone else who ran. Hopefully mine will be out for the fall. http://i378.photobucket.com/albums/oo225/ceharrisnanny/CR%20spring%20track%20day%202014/IMG_4154_zps807c674d.jpghttp://i378.photobucket.com/albums/oo225/ceharrisnanny/CR%20spring%20track%20day%202014/IMG_4140_zpsd1d9aa3b.jpghttp://i378.photobucket.com/albums/oo225/ceharrisnanny/CR%20spring%20track%20day%202014/IMG_4113_zps793be1fc.jpghttp://i378.photobucket.com/albums/oo225/ceharrisnanny/CR%20spring%20track%20day%202014/IMG_4105_zpsb1d7cfcd.jpghttp://i378.photobucket.com/albums/oo225/ceharrisnanny/CR%20spring%20track%20day%202014/IMG_4099_zps74581b6c.jpghttp://i378.photobucket.com/albums/oo225/ceharrisnanny/CR%20spring%20track%20day%202014/IMG_4156_zpsf819162a.jpghttp://i378.photobucket.com/albums/oo225/ceharrisnanny/CR%20spring%20track%20day%202014/IMG_4120_zps429653d4.jpg
  22. First, thank you for your service. I got my assoc degree from CSCC before going to OSU. I would advise you to talk to someone at the college you want to ultimately get your bachelor's degree from and have a set list of which classes transfer. I had about a year of bs stuff that did nothing for me. It's easy to waste time and money on classes you don't need. Also Find a schedule that works best for you. Don't take all morning classes if you hate getting up early etc. good luck.
  23. I was just looking on ebay and put in "firebird tail lights". A bunch of bulb listings come up. Some of the listings identified the factory bulb it replaced. I am hoping someplace local sells them.
  24. Yes....we finally have a law that recognizes a right we already have. It is defiantly a good step forward. Ohio are you listening? Mmm...Breakfast for dinner sounds good.
