  1. She was driving her dad's car. Both companies are pointing at the other. If there was a cop around at that point he would have had lots of cars to choose from. Old lady going slow in the fast lane meant a mass migration to the right lanes.
  2. On November 15 I was on 270 and there was an older lady in a Buick going slow in the fast lane. I tried to pass her on the right and she decided that would be a good time to change lanes. She just managed to hit the front left corner of my car. However she did not stop. I caught up to her and she flicked me off and floored it. I took pictures of her and her car and she finally decided to pull over. She then tried to deny she hit me until I pointed out the damage. She scraped the front corner where the bumper meets the fender. Not a huge deal especially on my acura but it was still her fault. She was driving her dads car. I recorded the entire conversation on a voice recorder and have her admitting to hitting my car when she changed lanes. Now both her insurance company and her dads company (since it was her dads car) are saying the other should cover it and she is denying it ever happened. At the scene after she saw the damage she became apologetic and promised to take care of it so I did not call the police. Now what to do? I am more pissed off about her being a cunt than the damage on my car.
  3. I think 40's are fine and I have shot several. I don't own any because most of what I like is made in 9 or 45 and its easier than adding another caliber. A friend loves 40 and the last time ammo became hard to find, he could always find it. That alone was reason for him to own that caliber. Buy what you like, shoot what you like.
  4. I travel for work so I got paid to go there. 8 pound jugs of Bullseye were 129. Unique are probably about the same. 8 pounds goes a long way. It's only an hour north of Columbus right off 71. I've never seen Alliant powder at Cabelas.
  5. I was at Fin Feather and Fur in Ashland today and they had most of the popular Alliant powders in stock. Mostly 1 pounds but some 8 pounds as well. I can't find pistol powder locally so......
  6. Great class. Learned a lot and had a great time shooting. Thanks Joe.
  7. How about a compromise? Corvette wheels and valve covers on the camaro? JK. Let us know what you decide.
  8. That's sexist. Women should be able to cum on the flag too.
  9. Thanks for all the kind words everyone. I don't build much anymore but it's a good distraction when you're stressed. Christian, I will check out that blog.
  10. After watching some diorama videos on U-Tube I decided to give it a try. I had a box of models that were junk anyway. I stripped the old paint, repainted and detailed it to look like its an old junker just rotting away in someone's back yard. One quarter has been replaced while the rest of it is pretty rusty. The platform is a 1:18 scale case and I built the fence out of balsa wood. I may add an old garage once I figure out how to do that too. Let me know what you think. Thanks. http://i378.photobucket.com/albums/oo225/ceharrisnanny/photo1_zps7c97d876.jpg http://i378.photobucket.com/albums/oo225/ceharrisnanny/photo3_zps4635b4d4.jpghttp://i378.photobucket.com/albums/oo225/ceharrisnanny/photo2_zpsb0989152.jpghttp://i378.photobucket.com/albums/oo225/ceharrisnanny/photo4_zps64ec87a0.jpghttp://i378.photobucket.com/albums/oo225/ceharrisnanny/photo5_zpsb8e2f99b.jpg
  11. http://www.ghmchs.org/tour-pages/salzgaber.html My great grand parents owned a lot of what is now Grandview and parts of Upper Arlington. The old Tri Village Studio building on 5th was a great relitive's. According to my grand father, his father's second wife "acquired" all the land and sold it off keeping the money for her side. Considering good corners have sold for $500,000 an acre.....I wonder what if a lot.
  12. Nice car. I have not seen a white one for a while. Looks clean.
  13. Franklin County sucks. Waestland is slightly better but not much. If you like old stuff check out the civil war gun show at the Richland County fairgrounds (Mansfield) in May. They have stuff civil war era up to WWII. Plus there are always at least 3 tall guys dressed up as Abe Lincoln to gawk at.

    Safe move

May try calling vances and see who they use.
  15. Try calling Gun envy. They had several spam cans of surplus a week ago. It was $99 for 1 or $89 each if you bought 2.
  16. To piggyback on Cybe...The Kroger next to the former Kohls now BOE space just purchased land across the street and will be building a new store near Menards. They are on a ground lease at their current location so there may be another big vacant anchor to be re-tenanted soon. Its good for the south side of the street where all the new buildings are.
  17. If you are thinking about living there long term also consider which way home values are going. Do some searches and make sure you are not going to lose money by buying a house in an area with decreasing property values. You could buy it today at a "deal" only to break even later. Also if you have or plan on having kids compare the school systems. Hilliard is generally far better than Cbus but some local schools do ok. I am just west of 71 so I go through there often. It's not the worst area but it wouldn't be my first choice unless I had a huge garage or other motivation. Good luck.
  18. Bump. Anyone have any 38 spec or 357 mag brass? I have plenty of 9mm or 45acp brass to trade or can buy out right.
  19. You may call or check out Blue Caboose on Indianola. That's where my uncle gets his stuff. Even if the new stuff is out of your price range, they may know some folks who want to thin out a bit. Also a bunch of builders get together every Friday at the Hobby Land in Grace land. Someone there may have stuff for you. Good luck.
  20. Cool build thread. I like the wagon in one of the pics too.
  21. At least OUR borders are secure. We don't have anything to worry about here.
  22. Keep us in the loop on that. Web stuff is fine but there is just something fun about getting your hands on a new magazine every month. I am still more than happy to pay for print.
  23. They replaced my High Performance Pontiac with Hot Rod. The douch bag cover was the biggest slap in the face. I am very disappointed. Not sure what to replace HPP with.
