Agreed. I could not find any mention of a vote. If this goes through it is a slippery slope of what comes next? Plus no one "wins" if this succeeds. Consumers, hunters, etc lose a good product. Businesses that count on the surplus market suffer and so do retailers who will no longer be able to sell it. Even if it was not 223, this is a bad sign with a gov't agency gets so big it goes back on its own ruling with minimal to no accountabiity for the fall out.

I do the same thing plus there is an Advanced less than a mile away. But I still shop Rock before I commit to where I get the parts.

Bob, regarding LEPD, while I agree their guns are over priced, their range is nice and their personel have always treated me with respect. I shoot there at least once a month and have a membership. If you bring your own ammo and targets, two people can shoot for an hour for $20. It's hard to beat IMO.

If you part it out don't pull parts for anyone unless they are there with cash. I parted out a firebird and had multiple people say they wanted parts and then not show up. It wasted a lot of time.

We have 2 loveseats that are free if anyone wants them. Both are about 60" long and about 38" deep. The arm on one is broken on the inside but it looks fine on the exterior. This is an Interarms Walter PPKS 380. I don't know what year it was made but it was before S&W took over. I have had it for around 10 years. It shoots good and doesn't jam I just don't use it much and may trade it if anyone is interested. It comes with the original box, instruction manual, cleaning rod and two mags. One mag has a pinky extension. I also have a set of Pachmayr grips. There is a small scratched area on the right side near the muzzle. I would really like to trade for a stainless 357 S&W revolver but would consider lots of other guns as well. I am not interested in any shotguns or bows. Asking price is $525 but I would rather trade and can go up or down. I always practice shoot to wound. That's why I buy the full sillouette targets and only aim for the shoulder. Why can't cops do the same. Aiming straight at your target, especially when in fear of your life?

Grant, Congrats on the purchase. Blackwing and New Albany have 25 yard (75 feet) indoor ranges which would be a start. The outdoor Delaware range is 100 yards but call Norton Sporting Goods or look it up in the state's website to see when they close for the year. It's easier to sight in a new scope a little closer and work your way out. If you start at 100 yards get or borrow a spotting scope as 22's are damn near impossible to see without it. Good luck.
